She will typically wear comfortable clothing like t-shirts, camisoles, hoodies, sweats, jeans, cargo pants, skirts (in various lengths), and dresses. She will usually wear boots (her favorite being a nice scarlet red leather). She wears black often, though she experiments with pops of color here and there.

Her hair is black normally, but she dyes it wild colors and plays around with it, depending on her mood. Make-up tends to follow the same pattern as her hair, with some color there. She doesn't paint her face all white like some other goth-types she knows, she figures she's already white enough. When she wants to though, she can dress up with the best of them (but she has to WANT to).

Being a prominent hacker in the world adds to that fact as well. She often cracks jokes and pokes fun as a form of endearment, but she often comes across as too sarcastic for her own good. This is especially true for authority figures as she tends to blur the lines on who she jokes with, often leading to people getting hurt.

Tempest prefers her own world and escapes when things get too hectic or bad. Despite her "doom and gloom" appearance, she doesn't share a dark outlook on the world, which explains why she does not like intense situations with feelings. She has been called brilliant and genius on many occasions and is not afraid of confrontation with others. She is brave in the face of danger and is not afraid to pursue the truth.

[b][color=841536]Why did you want to become an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.?:[/color][/b] It wasn't so much that Tempest wanted to be a SHIELD agent as she didn't really want to be labeled a criminal for doing what she believed was right. That being said, she knew about SHIELD and even tried to hack once (okay...it was more like 5 times). If she can use her skills for good to stop the bad guys, why not do it?

[b][color=841536]General History:[/color][/b] Tempest was born Henley before she legally changed it. Raised by a single-mother who would rather drink than take care of the two children forced upon her (apparently), Henley had to grow up quickly in order to take care of her brother, who was autistic. Henley has to toughen up too as she tended to beat up anyone who picked on her younger brother. She did well in school, but tended to get into trouble, mainly as a way to rebel and get her energy out. Her teachers noticed an aptitude with computers though and made note of that as she traversed school.

Soon, Henley was looking to graduate school early, but she didn't want to leave her brother alone. A teacher by the name of Ms. Penny took it upon herself to contact a friend of hers at Yale, who offered Henley a full-ride scholarship. Ms. Penny also said she would take care of her brother for her as she attended school. Henley went and finished the program, opting to continue into her PhD and graduating with high honors. Her brother said she was proud.

Ms. Penny, though, didn't last much longer. A senseless act of violence left her dead and her brother scarred. Henley spiraled into a dark time, changing her name and her appearance drastically. She tended to her brother while she tried to find a job, but she never could find solid work. Until she started hacking. Once inside, she couldn't stop. She would target only the most corrupt people, leak their secrets, and eventually got paid to do it.

She came out of her funk, but decided she liked who she became. She kept the name and the look, but now had a more positive outlook on life, remembering Ms. Penny and her sacrifice for her and her brother. Soon, Tempest (or r0se-Th0rn as her hacker name) became popular and SHIELD was knocking on her door, offering her a job rather than a jail cell. Ensuring her brother would be taken care of in her absence, Tempest took the job.

Facing one's death is not easy, especially when you end up alive after it. Tempest was informed of her death during the events of Ultron, but she took it in stride, knowing she did her best to attempt to hack the bastard and prevent it. Hearing that he was stopped thanks to the team, it provided her hope that she was in the right place with SHIELD. With the new relocation, she hoped she would be able to play a more active role in missions rather than always playing back-up.
