Hunter Jorgenson|Island Paradigm
[@Crimson Raven][@MarshiestMallow]@everyone else Hunter walked around the edge of the beach while the other talked, sniffing at the forest and air as the others went about making a plan. He'd decided to dismiss the "flavor smells" as his father had called them and focus on the core scent that they all shared. He knew he had smelled it before, but no matter what he tried, it was so diluted by the other smells in the area, and their flavor smells, finding that core one was all but impossible. "Damn it all..." As he turned to give his own suggestion on what to do, the island shook like a giant had grabbed it and was now trying to rip it out of the earth. Bracing himself by staying low to the ground and crouching, he started to make a remark about it when a sound he never thought he'd hear again ripped through the island. "Son of a bitch!" Hunter braced against the roar, standing against it's primal force as if to challenge nature itself, budging only when the intensity seemed to grow. After what seemed like eternity though, the roar stopped. Their de facto leader responded with a show of magic as icy armor formed over her body, with a spear to match. Long coat guy, and it didn't matter what his name was, Hunter was going to call him that, approached Sasha and proceeded to lay out a series of ideas. As Hunter walked over, he couldn't quite follow all of what he said, but it sounded good. Except they didn't need scouts. "Those are all great ideas, long coat guy, but you don't need to worry about scouting. I know what that roar was and anyone who's ever met a dragon should as well. I've only ever heard a dragon roar once, when my adoptive father truly grew angry. It's a sound meant to instill primal fear in lesser men and make the bolder of human kind hesitate." He turned to look into the forest, the now identified scent of dragon wafting across his nose. "And if we're lucky, there's only one..."
