A pair of robotic eyes peeped out from the door to the stairwell, scanning the hall for movement before disappearing back into the doorway. Seconds later, Pax's tall metal frame emerged and proceeded down the hall until arriving at the next corner, peeking once more. Clutching his hands together and holding them towards his side, Pax rounded the bend and slinked quickly down the next stretch of the hallway. His head darted around, making sure he wasn't being followed and hoping that nobody would catch him. Just a little farther... He thought, and within a short moment he was within arms reach of his prize. Pax opened the door to the storage room and slipped inside, making sure to close it quickly before even so much as turning the light on. A second later, the lights flickered on, revealing an anxious Nagansa clawing another box open. Several other boxes had been moved around and opened as well, and the floor was littered with specks of the boxes and other bits of trash. It seemed rather clear that the avian creature was distressed, to some extent. "No no no no! Nagansa, paklek! Stop! Please!" Pax exclaimed in a hushed tone, scrambling forward to grab the destructive creature. His hands, however, were full of food scraps - which were consequently flung across the room in his panic. "Ah, damn it... come here!" Pax groaned, struggling to grab Nagansa as she hopped around frantically to avoid his grasp. Finally, his metal fingers settled in around her slender form, and he brought Nagansa's face to meet his and briskly thwapped her snout. "Bad girl! I told you, this stuff isn't ours! Now look at what you've done! This room is a complete mess!" Pax scolded, extending his leg to try and sweep the food scraps into a pile together on the floor and thwapping Nagansa's snout again. "No more boxes, got it? Stop breaking boxes, and... I'll give you some Tarberries!" Pax continued, setting the bird down by the food. "Now eat... I've got some cleaning up to do..." The robot sighed audibly, bending down to put some of the boxes back together and sorted out.
