Penelope nodded her head slightly as Crow answered her question with uncertainty. She eyed the castle wondering what spot would be the best, until he finally came up with an answer. As he pointed out the window, her gaze followed his directions over to it and nodded her head. “Alright. I’ll try my best to meet you there then.” She agreed. Since it was only the third floor, she figured it wouldn’t be too difficult to locate the window once she was inside and if the plan with the henbane went well, she wouldn’t have to worry about any of the staff questioning her. [i]I wonder if the way they place the guards are similar to back home...[/i] The knight hoped that they were. She might be able to predict the path of patrolling knights and their placements but it was a long shot. Though the castle didn’t seem too much different from the one in Brerra on the outside, there was no way of knowing what it was like within. She hoped to learn as much as she could when she stayed with the servants inside the castle. The knight fell quiet for a moment as they walked and lifted her gaze from the castle up to the stars. Her mind drifted to the legend behind the staff. Perhaps it was due to the closeness of the approaching raid, but she felt a small bubble of worry forming inside her that it might be true despite her lack of belief in such things. She glanced at Crow out of the corner of her eye before focusing back on the stars. The thought of an enemy that she couldn’t fight was a bi rattling to the knight so she turned to the only person she could think of that might help her. [i]Oh mother, please watch over him.
