Well, Taylor would've played the game rather often most of the time, hitting about 30-40 hours a week in the game even if it is at the cost of sleep. It is possible that Iva and Nara met from the time to time while questing or doing in game events. Nara definitely would've wanted to get to know her as she is naturally curious of people. Perhaps they became friends because Nara is one of the few people who don't view her normal form as disgusting? [i]All creatures are valued by Nature, after all.[/i]
