Kyle greeted his housemate with a smile as he headed into the kitchen. The other vampires liked to steal blood from the local blood banks every now and again, but Kyle was still a little skeeved out by the thought of drinking it. To him, animal blood worked just fine. There were still a couple bags of deer left from a recent hunting trip. Kyle had found that he preferred the taste of wild animals' blood, as apposed to the grain fed cattle or swine. He took a bag and poured himself a glass. "Alright, I guess. Work is good. There's been talk of a strike because of the pay, so that'll be interesting." He took his dinner into the living room and flopped down onto one of the expensive couches that could be found there. Whoever had designed this place had extravagant, and a bit gaudy, taste. Kyle grabbed the remote and began flipping through TV channels. Nothing like a little unwind before bed. The news? Nope. HGTV? Nope. Hallmark? Double nope. Animal Planet? Hmmm...
Luca Petulengro
Location: The church Tags: Wyatt, Nicolette, Lilith _____________________ While he waited for the hunters to show, Luca made another trip upstairs to grab Father Walter's journal. He may need it for reference as he met with the group. He hummed softly as he made his way back down the old wooden steps. As he walked into the main sanctuary, he paused. "Oh." There were three people there, standing about and chatting, that certainly weren't members of his congress. They must have been a few of the hunters. Luca paused, considering if he was ready for this meeting after all. These people were vicious vampire hunters, and he was but a meek disciple. He would be little help to them, other than to relay the findings in Father Walter's book. Maybe he could just give it to them, and let them do as they were meant to. But...that didn't feel quite right. If Father Walter wanted them to have the journal, he would have left to them, not Luca. Clearly he wanted Luca involved in this matter somehow. Luca just wished he could ask him how. He cleared his throat as he approached, his steps soft and almost silent. "Hello," He said, his voice almost a third of the volume of their's. "My name is Luca Petulengro. I'm the one who called you all here today." He clasped his hands in front of him, his deep brown eyes meeting those of the hunters as he had practiced for so many years. It had taken him a long time to become comfortable with approaching strangers, and even now, he still tended to get nervous from time to time. "Let's step into the side chapel here so we can talk more privately." Luca motioned to the door that lead into the John Hall chapel. The last thing he wanted was for his congress to catch wind of this outlandish talk of vampires.
