[@Stern Algorithm] how many years ago was that?  Alys has only been teaching for three, so if it is more than that, I don't know how they met.  Perhaps she subbed in for one of her mentor's courses or something once or twice, before that.  It probably took a couple years for him to be permitted to attend Polytech, though, so I think it still would line up.  Say he graduated two years ago?
