~~New World, Old Friends~~
[@Mag Lev]
Silence. After the encounter with the pond and avalanche, nothing but the cold silence of the forest filled her ears. There was no sound, and she could feel nothing. Not a breath of air, the cold chill of the wind, or the skittering of a rabbits foot through the cold ground. Just the cold air and the wind as she drifted through the air. Strange. A forest like this should have plenty of life, shouldn't it? Or was everything just asleep for the evening. Not even any wolves and the like seemed to be about. It was then she picked something up. Something moving in her direction. At least, she thought she did. It was odd - her extrasensory abilities to 'feel' other minds was quite sharp, yet this one was obscured. Like it was buried under a pile of leaves. An odd feeling, actually feeling how these powers worked first hand instead of a simple simulation from a machine. Had something noticed her? Well, no matter. Whatever it was she didn't care. As long as she didn't bother it, it wouldn't bother her, at least until said person's cloak disengaged. "You know my parents didn't teach me much, Taylor." Coming to a halt, Iva's bare feet gently touched the ground a few feet in front of the Dryad. Taking a moment to observe, she tilted her head to the side in thought. "Or would you prefer Nara now?" Despite her deadpan voice and expressionless visage, it was easy to tell Iva at least was glad to see her old friend. Something she had never exactly had many of, in game or otherwise. Nara and a few others, but aside from her all had left Yggdrasil long before the shutdown. "Any idea where are we?" She asked. "Yggdrasil wasn't this...complex...have you seen anyone else?" She touched her hands to the edges of her lips and used her pointer fingers to turn her mouth into a smile as an example. Wasn't she accepting this a little too easily? Assuming everything else was correct so far, she had essentially become Iva, her avatar hadn't she? A special brain-eater of sorts who generally were immune to a number of mental effects. Perhaps staying calm was a side effect of that? ...the implications of that, if true, were alarming, if the racial description was any indication. Ah, she didn't want to think about it. Where was a comfy bed with a body pillow and a warm blanket when she needed it?
