Do I have to have my character be immortal?

 If so I'll have to use Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.

He's got everything I need for that situation. Plus, being my first arena match (ranked or not) I must do my video games honor, Halo, RuneScape, STARWARS Jedi Knight Academy/Battlefront 2, MK: ANNIHILATION, MARVEL: ULTIMATE ALLIANCE, Pokemon FireRed/Gold version, N64 Gex: Enter the Gecko/Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker/Diddy Kong Racing/Mario Kart/Super Mario/007: Golden Eye, Guitar Hero III.

If you mean how you think you mean by giving me a character to vs that's similar in challenge to the one I've chosen (which wouldn't be an immortal- but death doesn't need to be portrayed if we, me and the opponent, end up liking one another. Or yes... There was no other option...) then I choose to do battle as an Imperial Royal Guard from STAR WARS.
