While Chiron talked with Syrus and Joanne Lilith watched the people her age as they swung sword and thrust with spear in what looked like the training styles she’d seen in the frescos and pottery of Greece; even their armor spoke of the age of Bronze. 

She was no trained fighter but her dad’s insistence on her joining him in his morning Tai chi exercises had left her with a body the girls at school often envied openly and the flexibility required to make her one of her former schools top gymnasts.
