She rather looks like a stereotypical pretty girl, standing tall at 5'11 with a slender, lean frame that proves she works out and plays sports. She enjoys taking care of herself, and she's careful in picking out her outfit for the day, another thing that goes against a stereotypical nerd. Though, Sameh doesn't like things to be assumed about her, or anybody, and so she dresses and looks how she wants. She wears her dirty bright blonde hair long, parted down the middle, in waves or, sometimes, curled with an iron when she wakes up early enough. She may pin it back if she woke up late enough. She has a dusting of freckles against the bridge of her nose and her upper cheeks, her long, dark lashes making her green eyes pop, with dark, thin eyebrows above them. She has sun-kissed skin from being outdoors playing soccer, and she makes sure to show her hard work by wearing well-fitting clothes. She is very feminine, wearing bright colors, skirts, dresses, and jewelry. She sometimes wears heels, though she usually sticks to more comfortable footwear that still goes well with her outfit. She enjoys make-up, though she keeps it light and natural-looking. It's rare that her hair is put up, unless she woke up late or she's working out. She enjoys experimenting with her style, and trying different outfits out.
p e r s o n a l i t y
Because of Sameh's looks, she is often seen as the mean girl or cheerleader type, when she is anything but. Sameh is very sweet, especially when meeting somebody new. She's a sweetheart, caring about other's feelings, and what they're thinking about. She'll often ask her friends what's on their mind, rather than how they're doing, because she truly wants to know. She enjoys skipping small talk and getting to the deep and meaningful conversations. She loves talking about things considered inappropriate and weird with people she doesn't know well. She loves meeting somebody new and learning everything she can about them. She also has a tendency to ramble about the things she loves if given the chance. She is very honest and open, too. She won't hesitate to answer almost anything. With that honesty, may come some hurt feelings, though. She doesn't often lie, but she isn't rude about the truth, either. She's very tactful and careful with her words. She believes words matter, and she uses them wisely. She is rarely not thinking of other people, though as a result, she forgets about her own feelings. She'll let herself be hurt, to spare somebody else's feelings. She'll say when somebody upset her, but she easily forgives them, possibly letting it happen again. She doesn't see when somebody is treating her badly, and lets it continue, since she is so forgiving. She's very trusting, and thinks there's goodness in everybody. She may be honest about her feelings, but she pushes them to the side quickly, so that's her way of bottling them up. She doesn't linger on them, and instead, is more interested in others. She isn't moved to anger or annoyance easily, and instead, finds amusement in somebody trying to get her upset. Or simply being annoying without realizing it. Though, when her own emotions get bottled up too much, she may lash out. She tries to watch out for it, though, and will admit to her wrongs and faults pretty quickly. She doesn't like people upset at her, and tries almost anything to fix that. She carries the guilt of upsetting somebody with her longer than is considered healthy, though. She doesn't like others upset, either, and will try her best to get to the bottom of it. She will stand up for her friends, and her future career, but she doesn't often stand up for herself besides that. She also cries at the drop of a hat. She's working on that, and has gotten better. But, if something really gets to her, good or bad, she'll often tear up. She gets slightly embarrassed by it, but she also knows it's a natural reaction, and doesn't fret about it. She just knows it makes some people uncomfortable so she tries to control it the best she's able. It's hard for her to hide her emotions; she wears her heart on her sleeve. Her face expresses almost everything she's feeling. She often rolls her eyes out of fondness, or scoffs out of amusement, but she doesn't mean anything by it. She's a very kind, and caring, person that only wants everybody, especially her friends, to be happy.
b i o
Sameh had a happy and good childhood, growing up in New York City, living the big city life. Her older brother, Bradley, had a heavy influence on the person she is today. She looked up to him, following in his footsteps of loving video and tabletop games, superheroes and comic books, being kind and helpful to others. She adored her older brother, though he made a huge mistake one night. He was sixteen, while Sameh was only thirteen, when he went out with his friends one night. He drank, and drove, killing himself and an elderly couple. Sameh was devastated, not only because he did that, but because he was gone, too. Her parents completely blamed him, hurting her further. She promised herself she would carry on his memory, ignoring her parents when they vehemently told her they would not have a daughter that would be a video game designer. Sameh called her aunt and uncle who lived in Glades Fall, upset and distraught. Her aunt, who always had a rivalry with her sister, Sameh's mother, and rarely spoke to her, told Sameh about Glades Fall High School, and how they had classes for what she wanted to do. Her aunt and uncle agreed she could come live with them during the school semester, so she could attend the school. Sameh was over the moon, excited about starting her high school career, preparing to do what she loved. Though, her parents would never say yes. Her mother didn't get along with her sister, but Sameh was forming a plan. Before she finished middle school, she proposed the idea to her parents. She said that there was no other high school like Glades Fall, and it would benefit in her journey of becoming a lawyer. Her parents were happy their daughter chose a practical career, and while her mother was weary of her sister, she also knew her sister wasn't a bad person. So, her parents agreed, and after some tense conversations, Sameh agreed to keep contact with her parents so her aunt and mother didn't have to talk. Sameh felt like her parents were happy to get a break from her, anyway, even though Sameh felt like she did nothing wrong. She was an A+ student, never got in trouble, but they still voiced how upsetting it was she spent so much time playing video games and drawing comic book characters. It would do them all good to get a break from each other. After more tension, her parents finally signed guardianship over to Sameh's aunt and uncle, since she wouldn't be able to attend Glades Fall otherwise. Sameh felt bad, because her parents did care in their own way, and wanted the best for her, yet she had to follow her dream. It made her feel worse when her parents said they trusted her enough to keep up with her classes and own grades. She kept quiet about her lies to her aunt and uncle, spending half the summer with them until her freshman year. She got through it, but her aunt and uncle found out about her lies. As her guardians, of course they would be involved in parent-student activities, and had access to her report card. They were disappointed she lied and were going to tell her parents. After Sameh broke down, and admitted why she was doing it, because she loved it and in honor of her brother, they relented. They had always adored Sameh, and wanted a child of their own, yet couldn't have one. So, they caved, to keep Sameh happy, and to keep her around, too. It only made them closer, and she promised to never lie like that to them again. She already felt bad enough for lying to her parents. But, Sameh is still very excited for her second year at Glades Fall, and hopes it goes as well as the first.
s p e c i a l i t y Video game/graphic design, and comic book illustrating/writing.
