Her eyes are a bright red, not an unsettling crimson but perhaps the color of an apple or cherry freshly picked. She is, like her sister, Rather short for even a Lalafell. Where most of her race reach 3ft - 3ft5 rather easily, she is barely 2ft9, the runt of the litter one may say. Her skin is pale and soft, the only markings anywhere being on her hands and arms, where she proudly holds multiple tiny scars ranging from old cuts to poorly healed burns from her early years learning to cook. Personality: Lala is an overly optimistic lass, She openly chooses to ignore the evil in the world and instead choosing to believe that anybody can be a good person if given the chance, if they only tried, a Pacifist if ever there was one. She derives a great deal of joy from helping others in any way she can, be it a hot meal, an open ear or a healing spell. She is known for being openly affectionate to most anybody, a fact that is often brought up by her twin sister who finds it strange. Lala though, is never known to be far from her twin sister, though if that is by her own choice or by that of her overprotective sister's nobody knows. If there is ever trouble to be found, Lala is often waiting on the sidelines to help those who need it or break it up if seems necessary. Biography: Born in Limsa Lominsa, the Lalafell never knew her parents. She was told they were adventurers who traveled together, always on the move and never ones for settling down, so when it was found that her mother was carrying a child it was a massive blow to their lifestyle. One child would have been enough, but when the twins were born it was almost as if the two vagabonds made a decision there and then. The very earliest memory Lala has is of being in an orphanage. Though hurt by learning this information, Lala did not let it harm her. Her sister however, was a different story. Lala grew up with her sister, a shy and often easily terrified child, her slightly older twin going out of her way to actively beat anyone who made the softer Lala cry, surprisingly this often made Lala feel better. They often hung around taverns as soon as they could, Lala bugging inkeeper and cook, employee after employee until finally she was taken in and taught the trade. Lala took to cooking slowly, a myriad of clumsy errors leading to her now prevalent scars. Her teacher was patient though, and in time mistakes led to strokes of genius, and now Lala can boast about her position as the Inn's cook and often the favorite of repeat customers. Though she learned slowly, she kept a surprisingly detailed record of her cooking exploits, learning all she could about anything even remotely edible, how best to cook it, and how she could experiment in the future. If anything could be said was strange about Lala, it would be her insatiable appetite for cooking knowledge. Life went by like this slowly, weeks stretched into months, and months into years and before they knew it they were 17. Lala, while happy to spend her days there in the Inn, she could not lie about her attraction to the adventurous lifestyle. Her sensitive ears often picked up tale after tale, stories that she would often be caught listening in on, and due to her quick rise in popularity among repeat customers, she often did not have to eavesdrop as they would often happily share their exploits with her. After years of hearing these stories, Lala spoke with her sister, insisting that they get some sort of formal training. Lala herself was fascinated by the Conjurers who made their way through the Inn, and her helpful nature drug her in that direction. Though her twin sister did not desire to leave her alone, she had her own desires, and after a week of arguing and another week of reassurances, the two sisters parted ways and Lala went to Gridania to learn. Other Information She enjoys cooking Friends are those who provide sweets She worries about you, are you getting enough to eat? Are you tired? She can heal that cut for you! Where Lala is always smiling sweetly and her eyes sparkling, a veritable rose, Lulu is a thorny bush in comparison. She keeps a frown or neutral expression, despises jokes and being touched, and is home to a near permanent scowl. This however changes drastically when she is in the company of Ian. Personality: As said above, comparing Lala and Lulu is like comparing a rose and a thorny bush. Lulu is a solitary creature, preferring to be alone with her books whenever possible. Study and experimentation is her life, hence her often singed or frosted hair. Lulu is also protective, taking her position as a minute or two older very seriously. Nobody messes with her softer twin and gets away with it intact. Biography: Being a child in an orphanage is a sore spot for Lulu, and few dare mention it save her sister Lala. She despises her parents for abandoning her and her sister, and strives to find a bit of revenge in protecting her only family. living on the streets was difficult, but it took a fair bit of convincing to get Lulu to work in the Inn, if only to keep her from scaring away the customers with her constant scowling at anybody who spoke to her sister. Like Lala, Lulu was caught up in the life of an Inn worker and much like Lala, she as well was inspired by the stories of adventurers she heard, the only difference being that Lulu took action much sooner than her sister. At the age of 16 Lulu approached an elderly Thaumaturge, a return customer for quite a while. She spoke to him as often as she could and eventually, after a month of pestering the old man caved, and gave her the tools to learn, insisting that she should go for a formal education as soon as she possibly could. That time would come a year later when Lala spoke to Lulu about her wishes to become a Conjurer, though Lulu herself had been preparing to leave already, it still took a fair bit of convincing before Lulu herself caved in, and gave her blessing, finally telling Lala about her wish to become a Thaumaturge. Lala was please beyond measure, making her slightly older twin promise to keep in touch. His eyes, beak, legs and feathers are all a deep black that seem to absorb all light at times. At most times Ian seems to scowl, if that is even possible for a Chocobo. Lulu dislikes him wearing anything at all save the pure white leather collar with his name emblazoned across the tag. Often times however, he happily wears saddlebags to ease the travel of Lulu and Lala. Personality: A fairly reserved and quiet Chocobo, Ian is nearly as protective of his twin owners as Lulu is of Lala and he will happily throw himself in front of an arrow or spell meant for one of the two, otherwise throwing his full weight against anybody foolish enough to become aggressive towards the twins in his line of sight. Biography: Ian was born as a gift from a rather appreciative Chocobo breeder who Lulu had been helping on her spare time. Lulu was there for years, helping them from a young age until finally, weeks before Lala had spoken to Lulu about her lust for adventure, the Breeder presented Lulu with a gift of a large egg, a test of her abilities as a Chocobo trainer in a way. It did not take very long for the egg to hatch, and shorter still for Lulu and Lala to be completely smitten with the tiny ball of hatred. You see, Ian was not exactly like other chocobo, more like Lala in personality truth be told. Ian was a reserved, proud, violently protective bird who would do anything for Lulu and Lala. Ian did miss Lala when the twins parted for the short time they did, spending almost a year apart before reuniting and once again travelling together. Ian hated being alone during those times when Lulu had to leave him beind, it was terribly easy for him to get lonely, but when Lala was there she always made everything seem ok, like nothing bad could ever happen, even when the three made their way for Ul'dah.
Study Study, Busy Busy You aren't good enough Ian is a good boi, the best boi. Can be bribed with Sweetbreads Hates walking, prefers to ride Ian.
