But free day doesn't mean free for him. After considering the invitation by the guild that he had attended the meeting the day before with care, Steven had decided to take the opportunity. After all, he did have a certain degree of trust in Xenos's word about the guild's overall strength. He found it safe enough to take the risk for a better reward at the dungeon they were going to. But to increase his own chances of survival, he ought to make his weapon concept become a reality first. And he would not waste any time. He had almost all the resources and credits available. He'd not procrastinate here. He woke up early in the morning, had a quick meal before diving into the drawing board. His new weapon: The Sniper Rifle Prototype 1. It shouldn't there be an explanation to what it is. It is simply an improved version of the Flintlock Rifle, with twice the range of the based rifle and the bullet velocity increased slightly. It should be a great tool to engage at a range that the monsters or players wouldn't, or couldn't, fight back. The entire morning was devoted to drawing up the new weapon. By the end of lunch, the plan was completed, with the weapon's requisite being calculated by the game's system. It turned out a lot more than he imagined. It was a rather complex plan, so he'd need to invent the parts separately and tinker them separately. Though looking a little costly, Steven knew in the long term, it would be very much worth it. He spent half an hour calculating the amount of Renn he'd need, and what exactly he'd need for the task. Then he headed out for the market and execute the plan. 8 Irons (with some extras for contingency) to fulfill the ingredient needs. 20 Ironshot and 60 Gunpowders for later, while 3 Greater Blue Potion for the extended number of tinker and invent he'd do. And finally he rented a facility for 50 Renn to increase the chance of success. The crafting process was tedious though, as the cooldown time could take a while. But eventually before the dawn of the next day, he had finished his new product. His newest invention.
At least this tinker wasn't alone at being an outsider. He could notice a red-tagged player tagging along with the group as well. The girl may be younger, he didn't know through that skull mask. But he knew the girl was also extended an invitation just like he had been. While the foreign educated man would remain vigilant around this mysterious figure, he wouldn't be unsympathetic to not give her an opportunity. Before his observation of the girl was noted, the dungeoning had begun. With the teleportation initiated, Steven unstrapped the new sniper rifle he had just invented the day before. With the smell of grease and wood still apparent in the new product, the man with the heavy glass decided to give this weapon a test. With his orders being given clear as the bright sky, with no ambiguity allowed to be exploited, Steven immediately turned his attention to the boar on the left. "Alright." He gave his teammate the signal that he was ready to go Steven stood at the far back of the entire group, as it was evident that his new weapon boasted the range far higher than any of the ranged weapon any players in this party possessed. He took his aim carefully, waiting until the Keen Eye icon flashed. Then he open fired on the said boar that he had been eyeing at for the whole time, the stock of the gun punched on his shoulder. He wasted no time rotating the muzzle upward to reload. The process was long and quite tedious, but Steven should be the one knowing that best since day 2.
Summary: -Steven moves to the back of the formation -Takes extra time with aim (Keen Eye activation) -Fires at boar 1 (-1 Ironshot, -1 Gunpowder) -Reloads (currently)
