Come with me, I’ll take you down to the second floor.” She pushed the door open for Delilah and motioned with a wave for her to come. Behind her out in the hall sat a solid white wheelchair. The hallway was lit brightly, and though not heavily crowded, did have others walking it’s length. A pair of nurses passed by, and from the opposite direction came a surgeon, his face shrouded by a surgical mask.
