How You Obtained Your Powers: Reid was simply born with his power. As a younger child, Reid only wished to be a hero like so many people around him. However, when a battle between a White cape and a Black Cape became catastrophic, he turned bitter and resentful towards both Black and White capes, utilizing his ability to destroy them from the inside.
