Also interested. I was thinking maybe a god of Prophecy (unless that's too close to time), Pain, or Light. Prophecy would be like occasionally telling the future, but having no control over it or even necessarily understanding it. Pain would be a guy who loves making large predators or tormenting life forms. Light would be a diety obsessed with light, making luminescent creatures and probably trying to get the sun up 24/7 or something similar. I was also thinking maybe a god of something akin to Water, but more focused on the deep part of water, drowning, and the sinking of ships. Maybe just a more malevolent Water god, or maybe something specific like Watery Depths.
