"That's alright, it happens." He nodded when told to lead the way, and stepped in front of the group quietly. His soft footsteps lead them down the hall and to the right. Luca opened the large, wooden door to reveal the empty chapel. He flicked on the lights and headed in. "This is where I'd like to have meetings with you all whenever necessary," He said as he found a pew and sat down. The seating arrangements weren't the best, but they'd certainly manage. "I know you are all wondering why I called you here today, and I hate to say that it comes with unfortunate news. Father Walter went missing a few weeks ago. He is...presumed dead." Luca wasn't sure he'd actually said it out loud yet. It didn't feel right, and it was still very upsetting for him to think about. But he couldn't dwell on his sorrow now, not with guests lingering. "Several of the townspeople have been found dead by authorities, drained of blood. They believe a serial killer is responsible, and I don't necessarily disagree." Luca pulled the journal from his coat pocket. "Father Walter left me this journal, encompassing his hunts with your group from before he retired. It describes vampires, which, to be frank, I never even considered existing until just a few days ago. But, I believe the reason he left me this book is clear. There is a vampire loose in our town, and I need you all to stop it before it kills more innocent people." Luca tucked the journal away again and returned his hands to a folded position in his lap. "I can't offer you much as payment, but I'm sure I can get something scraped together to make it worth your while."
