Momoe Mizuno Momoe was sliding through the tabs of her tablet as a gunshot rang out shortly after a cry of defiance, startling her and causing her to look up. "What in the goddamn..." Apparently, the local 'Hero' had decided to live up to his talent's namesake and dove in front of the bubbly girl from earlier, who had apparently been stupid enough to try and attack their captor. She wasn't surprised that said captor then decided to give out a warning shot, even if it was still a rather... shocking sight. No, what made Momoe actually freeze up was the bear then needlessly shooting another bullet straight through the shoulder of the girl who'd tried the assault. She should've already learned her lesson from her hero getting shot; there wasn't a need to be cruel enough to do it again to prove a point. Momoe took a step back and blinked at the sight, dazed. Whoever was behind that bear was serious about all this. She looked around her as everyone apparently rushed forward to try and help the duo. The girl glanced to her side and saw a Platinum-haired girl- she was called Snow according to the handbook- walk away next to her. Momoe would've taunted her if it wasn't for the fact that the thief among them wanted to stop her. "...You're kidding me," Momoe mumbled to herself as she watched Aurel go up to the stage. The girl groaned and knocked her lighter out of the sleeve of her coat, and pulling a cigarette out of its pocket. While Aurel went up and delivered his speech, Momoe was struggling to get her lighter to work. She paid enough attention to get the gist of what he was saying, but she needed some stress relief in order to not pop a blood vessel. Once she got the damn thing lit, only then did Momoe decide to go up and walk in Aurel's direction. "So what?" The smuggler's voice rang out as she slowly strode up the small steps of the stage. She didn't close her eye as she was pulling out the smoke of her cigarette, instead finding her sight locked straight onto Aurel as she paced towards him. Once close enough, Momoe at least had the courtesy to look away instead of giving him a face full of smog. "Sure, if I believe you, we might've been friends..." she growled at him. The smuggler's one eye darted back to meet Aurel's. "...but as far as I'm concerned, we're strangers now. And I don't intend to play the friendship game, or follow the leadership of some trembling lamb." Momoe took a step back and took another drag from her cigarette, taking her time to enjoy the sensation before exhaling again. The smoke gently floated up in the air as she took a second to appreciate it, basking in the tranquility it gave her. The girl looked down after a blink, one last thing left to say. "Stop preaching. Trusting someone just means you're an easier target." Momoe turned on her heel and started to walk away from the stage, taking another drag of her cigarette as she moved.
