[indent]Haru's most defining features include his unkempt, black hair which complements his perpetually dull facial expression. He has a very pallid physique on account of his genetic disorder, and either bedridden or bound on a wheelchair.[/indent]
[sub]Personality[/sub]
[indent]Considering what he's been going through the past few years, sanguinity would be the last thing one would consider in regards to his temperament. Haru is a mix of disgruntlement and despondency bundled with a side of constant mood swings. He has slowly accepted the hopelessness of his situation, but of course that isn't to say that he wasn't afraid of the impending notion of death, nor elated at the fact that he was one of the scant ill-omened individuals to bear this curse.

Deep down, Haru appreciates his older brother, but it is hidden underneath his deep-seated selfishness and jealousy of the fact that unlike him, a broken mess, his brother has been living his life normally. He also feels like a burden to him, owing to being solely responsible for shouldering the entirety of his medical expenses. He doesn't know whether or not he hates his departed mother for being an indirect and unintentional cause to his unfortunate malady.

The meaning of life had long flown away from his mind. With so much anxiety and confusion racking his brain, he mostly spends his days being an empty husk whenever he's awake.[/indent]

[indent]Dead parents. Working older brother. [url=https://www.mda.org/disease/duchenne-muscular-dystrophy]Duchenne type muscular dystrophy[/url] inherited by his mother, a carrier with an abnormal gene. Symptoms began at age 14, at the height of his puberty. Hospitalized ever since. Taking medications to prolong his life, but as the months pass by he becomes progressively weaker, and can only take as short as a few minutes standing up before falling over. Wheel-chaired. Woohoo.[/indent]
