[color=#71637d][b]Personality:[/b][/color] [color=#d4d0d8]Kurt is surprisingly tame. While not entirely "normal", he could have been a lot worse. Having mostly raised himself, he is probably the most responsible out of his friend group. Kurt isn't very outgoing or friendly. He tends to stick with the people he knows and won't venture out of his friend group unless pushed to. He's pretty secretive, never talking about himself or his family. His quiet nature, mixed with his grim attire and tall stature, tends to make people nervous. 

He was mostly sorted in with the punks because of his wardrobe and wayward personality. He was raised by 80's punk rockers, so he's pretty comfortable around them anyway.

That said, due to the frustrations and general woes of his life, Kurt can be a bit touchy depending on the day. Some days he's pretty chill, others, he'd ready to fight literally anyone. He's not very nice, and unless you're one of his friends, he's generally unpleasant to be around. [/color]

[color=#71637d][b]Appearance:[/b][/color] [color=#d4d0d8]Most of Kurt's clothes were hand-me-downs from his dad. He wears a lot of dark colors, red, bright purple, and skeleton themed clothes, most of which are too big for him. His dad had a lot of money back in the day, so most of the clothes Kurt wears are name brand and very expensive. This leads people to believe that Kurt has money, which is false.

Body-wise, Kurt is very tall and a bit too skinny. He stands at 6'2", and still waiting on one last growth spurt. He is very lanky, and could probably use a little more protein in his diet. His knobby joints tend to stick out, and his face is sort of gaunt. He is very pale skinned, giving him an overall half-dead appearance. This, mixed with his messy, dark curls, almost automatically puts him into the 'punk' category. His eyes are dark blue, almost purple looking. Kurt has a faded scar across his throat. He won't disclose much about other than he got it in a car accident, and that it's the reason he doesn't talk.[/color]


[color=#71637d][b]Other:[/b][/color] [color=#d4d0d8]Kurt is a functional mute. While he [i]can [/i]talk, scaring in his throat and vocal cords make it uncomfortable and very rough sounding. He's been this way since before he moved into town. He mostly communicates via sign language,
and really only talks out loud when he has to. His voice usually frightens people when they first hear it.

The internal scarring on his throat also makes it difficult for him to swallow solid food. For the most part, Kurt lives on a diet of smoothies, protein shakes, pudding, and custard-like textures. His poor nutritional intake probably attribute to his thin build.

Most of his clothes have [url=http://i.imgur.com/qnqtcY8.png]this logo[/url] on them, from the band The Dreaming Dead. AKA his dad's band. People probably assume he's a big fan, but he really isn't.[/color]


[color=#71637d][b]History:[/b][/color] [color=#d4d0d8]Most of his friends enjoy rebelling against their parents, meanwhile, Kurt just wishes he had parents. His dad was a very popular punk singer from the eighties. His mother was a groupie. His mother was unfit to raise children, so Kurt's father was saddled with taking care of him. This usually consisted of him being dumped off on stage managers and other groupies. Kurt actually saw very little of his father. He was, instead, raised by punkrockers who really had no business being anywhere near a child. 

In his younger years, Kurt was introduced to drugs and alcohol, which he dabbled with to evade the reality of being a rock star's forgotten child. He's mostly clean these days. 

Kurt's father finally began to lose popularity and began to fade into the background of the music world. He bought a large house and settled down for a while, actually hanging around Kurt for a few years. This was around the time of Kurt's injury, and probably had to do with guilt. Whatever it was, it didn't last long. He decided to go and re-kindle his career and took off again, leaving Kurt alone at the house. Occasionally, money will appear in an envelope with no return address, but for the most part, Kurt is on his own. He avoids disclosing his family background or home situation to anyone but his closest friends, because he doesn't want to be taken away and put into foster care.[/color]

Then shit happened, his dad took off, and Kurt had other things to worry about. But they're cool. He likes her as a friend and is always down for pizza, B-list horror movies, and weed.[/color]
