Honestly,  I'm not sure. I think this would lend itself well to a small group scenario, so hopefully others express interest. Maybe like a team of astronauts, the idea was to represent several different disciplines in who was frozen, to give them a better chance of surviving when they were thawed out?

Obviously some of the cryo-systems could've failed or been broken as the world fell apart.

I might lean towards a botanist in that scenario. I wouldn't want to play a character too kickass, it's more fun to struggle.
