As such, though he covers his thin figure under robes and cloths that befit a young man of his upbringing, Wesley stands roughly in the upper five-foot height with his weight certainly being appropriate for the skinny body he has. Island life has given him a decent amount of muscle mass, but unfortunately for Wesley, he doesn't get out much/doesn't find himself as one who particularly enjoys the long walks or exploring, the life that his friends happen to enjoy. That aside, Wesley looks is like any other Besaid Island native. He had long, dark hair that comes to a stop at the base of his shoulder. His eyes, much like his ancestor, Yuna, has a small percentage that is green because of his distant Al Bhed blood, but his eyes resemble the sky during a partly cloudy evening.
[sub]Background[/sub]
It is not a secret that Wesley's bloodline is one of the oldest and most prestigious in all of Spira. Though he is not related to a Maester or has royal blood of the Guado, he is, however, a descendent of four of Spira's most famous heroes. On one side, he has the blood of High Summoner Braska and his daughter, High Summoner Yuna, coursing through his veins while famous guardians Jecht and his son, Tidus, make up the remaining side of Wesley's ancestry. Though several generations separate him and them, his upbringing and the way he carries himself would be best compared to Lord Braska.
[sub]Fighting Style[/sub]
Though usually a pacifist, When Wesley does fight, he does so with intelligence, strategy, and from afar. As a spellcaster who doubles as a summoner, Wesley utilizes two forms of magic: the healing, purifying arts of white magic and the destructive, yet surprisingly orderly, arts of black magic. He casts spells with percision and focus, able to both deal damage that is appropriate to whomever or whatever he might face while also acting as support for his allies. His main weapon aside from the aeons he might be able to summon is his handy Mage's Staff. It is crafted from a special material found on Besaid that naturally enhances one's magical attack and defense while also granting temporary protection from magical attacks to those around him. When Wesley is desperate and finds himself wanting to do the most damage, he activates a special inner-fire within him that, depending on the situation, has two forms. The first of the two is his non-summoning overdrive known simply as Magical Fury. With this, Wesley is capable of dealing massive magical damage through the use of a rapid fire spellcasting. Depending on if he wants to cause damage or support, Wesley can either dig into the spells of black magic he knows or can mass-cast white magic spell that, when cast in the quantity of numbers, allow for a wider range of effects, resulting in the possibility of curing someone of multiple ailments, or saving them from certain death. Alternatively, those foes who may have the upperhand might find themselves at the brink of death due to Wesley's offense. [s]The second of the two of Wesley's Overdrive is known as High Summon It is the result of the connection between summoner and aeon coming to its fullest form as the power flowing through an aeon flows through the summoner as well. When Wesley summons, this aeon will feel his heart and will and devotion to the fayth and be able to unleash power it had not previously possessed without it having to gather the power needed on its own. With it at full strength, the aeon unleashes its own Overdrive and causes its own damage that no mere human, Al Bhed, Guado, or Ronso could ever be capable of.[/s]
[sub]Misc[/sub]
Wesley is a devout believer in New Yevon. Despite the crimes of the past committed by those who claimed to believe in Yevon, Wesley has never lost faith. Yevon has corrected the mistakes of the past and has been on the right path for centuries. And like his predicessors before him, Wesley stayed true to his beliefs. He does this by praying daily.
[/cell][/row]
