Though she is a very modest and timid woman, Skaoi does have a love of embroidery. Though hers is not flashy it is complex and detailed.

For shoes, she prefers none if working in the gardens, a hobby of hers, or study shoes or slippers if in attending a patient. Skaoi, while a practical woman, does admire fine clothing though she constantly insists it's "too fine for the likes of me".

[b][color=Lavender]Your Path:[/color][/b] This was not the path she would have chosen for herself, but one she sees that has been set before her. Skaoi sees that she has little choice but to accept this exile from her homeland and people in general. While she does at times wish for the life she would have lead if not for her brother's intervention, Skaoi sees no reason to lament over what might have been, rather accepting what would be isn't and what is, is.

[b][color=Lavender]General History:[/color][/b] Skaoi Silverveil. It was not the family name she was born with, but for all intents and purposes it became the name the physcian wore. Like a well tailored coat it fits her well, albeit it a bit flashy for the timid woman's tastes. In truth she was of the blue blood of the Empire that dwelt among the Eastern Snow Plains. Her nobles parents Nikola and Iskra Dedic were estranged from her. Surrounded by the servants of her family, the child never had the spirit to be cruel or mean to them. But rather she displayed a passive and quiet nature which her older siblings took advantage of. Often blaming the young Skaoi for their misdeeds rather than suffer the punishment themselves. While she knew she was doing them no favors, it seemed easier to take the anger from the offended party and the scorn of her kin, than the added outrage from the trouble maker. She grew up hearing tales of бесконачни каменци and learning skills that would best aid her in finding a suitable husband to advance her family's standing. Namely the skills of weaving and embroidery fine clothes and the making of medicine to ease an old man's life.

It was successful to some extent as well! Her parents were setting up a possible engagement with a very old and very lonely man. One who required a nurse, as well as possibly heirs as his own sons had both fallen late in his life and no legitimate children were born. Perhaps a reason why he could not seek ties among those of the same rank as he! But alas fate intervened in the union. Damir, Skaoi's older brother, who was by no means a saint though he often appeared to be. His sins falling on Skaoi to shoulder. It was the night of a grand fete, where Damir and several friends became roaring drunk an idea struck the eldest Dedic. His friends were bemoaning the fact they were to wed women too young, old, fat, thin, or too shrewd. For parents looked at breeding and not always the face of the bride potential. Well, Damir had a pretty sister did he not? Sure she was to be married soon, but a bit of teasing wouldn't harm anything? So Damir and his mates found his passive sister and their teasing and jeers herded her to the private gardens. Damir had slipped away so as to not get caught in the whirlwind that followed after she was found without an escorted with such a rowdy group. However as men will they boasted of their deeds and the story expanded. Growing as a weed sinking it's roots into doubts. Skaoi unable to remain while looks were sent sideways at her. Her mother and father furious as the old man retracted his interest under the guise of the bride-to-be being of questionable virtue. But it worsened. The man died of sudden and surprisingly. His servants having found him having a fit in his bed, and speaking in tongues. The whispers of foul play or poison seeped to feed the roots of the strangling noose about Skaoi's neck. For surely a woman so skilled in an physician's arts would be able to pull it off!

So she left and fled to the Castle. A place hopefully far away enough that the tales of her wrong doing would not taint the life she needed to build for herself anew. Though there were some issues seeing as she was naive and near penniless. Working her trade as physician and often being scammed, Skaoi finally made it to the Castle where she found a home amongst the Forest. In a particular tree hut, though she fears heights it was all she could afford the rent of. Tending to a weathered old woman, and the prior owner, til the elder physician past and Skaoi was given the deed to the place.

[b][color=Lavender]Thoughts on Queen Meliscente:[/color][/b] She doesn't see it as her place to have thoughts other than whomever did it was doing a very terrible thing. Murder is not something Skaoi is comfortable with, and the possibility that one of the Princesses killed their own mother horrifies her. For such things go against her pacifistic nature.

Despite Myrus being a Prince, Skaoi is relax about him though she still remains quiet and meek for the most part. She often finds herself smiling over his accomplishments and worrying for him.
