Penelope glanced up at Crow as he began to guide her away from the busy streets. She frowned a little and followed him in silence, knowing that once they got out of the street he would bring up their future. Her gaze lowered to the ground and she tried to recover from her emotional moment as they stepped into the alley way. Her gaze flickered up to him as he let go of her hand and turned to face her. The knight braced herself but instead of words, he wrapped his arms around her. She closed her eyes as she pressed against him and wrapped her arms around him For a moment, she nearly thought he wasn't going to bring it up but that hope was quickly shattered as he finally pulled away. She averted her gaze as he said they needed to speak and felt a small stab of guilt as her attempt to push the subject away was bothering him. Penelope lifted her gaze over to him, looking a little confused by his final words as she thought it was strange he wanted her to say it rather than telling her himself. The knight let out a small sigh and lowered her gaze to the ground. "Alright.." She mumbled, finally giving in since she could no longer avoid him. "William is right about one thing... If I go with you, I'll just bring you more trouble. I can't say how my father will react but what William said probably isn't too far off," She frowned and wrapped her arms around herself tightly. "I'm too much of a risk for you and you want to end things. And I get it. You'll be in more danger than before and I'd rather you be safe than sorry." Penelope let out a shaky breath. "I'm sorry I was trying to avoid it. I just wanted one more day before we ended things.."
