Finally done with my character.

"It's naive to think that humanity should hold its advancements in its method of killing. As long as we use our knowledge of destruction with temperance, we shall reap many boons from it."
Human Name: Luna Ishtari Title: The Owl of Temperance. Sex: Female Age : 20 Occupation: She is an alumni of the Academy of Vorstaad. Thanks to her graduating with honors on first rank, she's now a teacher in the university in Bartla, as she has been sent by the Elders of Voorstaad to teach there as part of the cultural and technological exchange between the two nations. Secretly however, she was also a weapon researcher, part of the joint project between the two nations. Personality: She is a calm and collected individual who always analyzes the situation before acting. She's also somewhat of a quiet and introverted person, as she spent most of her time buried in her books and doing her research. She can be too serious at times, not getting people's jokes. And she doesn't suffer fools gladly. She also doesn't like people who can't arrive on time, as she always throws out students that do so from her classes. Her teaching is straight to the point, clear but with no jokes whatsoever. And she doesn't flinch at all at the sometimes gruesome acts she has to do for her research, like dissecting monster corpses or poisoning a bunch of rats and noting all the effects said poison has. Appearance: Her usual appearance is that of a mid to high-class lady, although she forgoes the traditional long dresses, preferring the combo of short skirts and black stockings instead. She doesn't like how long skirts hinder her movement. She doesn't show emotions that often, as she is quite the restrained person, fitting for the Virtue of Temperance. She always tries to look neat and tidy, as she dislikes untidiness. Her workplace is always neatly arranged and cleaned. Fighting Skills: She relies heavily on the magical items in her possession. From her boots that could emit jet winds to assist with her speed, her clothes that are woven with special fabric that could block both physical and magical damage, and her custom-made book that she uses to attack by ripping off a page and sending the paper towards her opponent. The paper could move on its own and it has magically enhanced sharpness and durability, allowing her to give her opponent a really nasty paper cut. Her paper could even be used as a shield. Special Ability: Glyphs of Temperance. She combines it with her paper assault, drawing the glyphs on her papers, making said papers have the capability of sealing any body parts they happen to attach to. The opponent would lose control of said body part, making it freeze in place. Backstory: She was born in the tiny island nation of Vorstaad. Unlike the majority of the nations in Tellurian, it was not led by a monarchy. Instead, it was governed by a council of people dubbed the Elders, people who contributed the most to the inventions and industry that kept the nation running, and the majority of the seats in said council was filled by the people who ran and taught in its famous Academy, as the Academy taught all kinds of knowledge, from the crafting of magical tools to mercantile and economics. She was born to a simple family of farmers, but unlike her parents who were content with their uneducated lot in life, she already pined to be a student in the Magic Academy ever since she was little. Unlike some of the other Virtues and Sins, she was already aware of her status as the reincarnation of the Virtue of Temperance all her life, and she believed that to have a better chance against the Void, humanity's advancement in magical technology would be key. Thanks to her own genius and the scholarship the Academy gave, she managed to enroll and she graduated with flying colors as the top ranked student. The Elders immediately recognized her talent and she was immediately invited to their close circle, so to speak. She didn't get a seat in the council itself but she had some influence in it, especially in things involving research and development.
I originally wanted to make her be able to cast all kinds of spells from her book but I figured that would probably be too broken. Edit: Nevermind, forgot her appearance lol. Edit 2: Done.
