Name:Tyroch Trank, or MV-213 Species: Human, of Mandalorian origin. Age: 25 Major Skills: •Nerves of Steel - He rarely loses his cool, meaning he rarely gets angry, sad, or excited. Some say it's part of the stormtrooper training, but it seems to be more than that. •Ranged Combat - He's an expert marksman by stormtrooper and indeed most standards. While he still uses a regulation E-11 blaster, he can operate a wide variety of blasters, though he's a bit iffy with heavy weapons. Minor Skills: •Jetpack Training - Actually trained by another Imperial Mandalorian who specializes in this sort of thing, not when he was at home on Mandalore. Makes him very maneuverable and fast, as he can even use a jetpack to glide across the ground instead of running if he needs to (though it's much easier to do this backwards than forward). Not as skilled as the next Mandalorian may be. •Guerilla Warfare - Not actually proficient in it, per se, but he's studied Death Watch standards for military operations, giving him some knowledge of how it works. Character Flaws: •Mandalorian Pride - The one thing he was will lose his cool over is things regarding Mandalore, whether it be about politics, the Imperial occupation (which he secretly disproves of, not that he would ever tell anyone), or simply distaste for Mandalorians, especially those formerly of Death Watch. He will also trust most Mandalorians instinctively, whether they actually deserve that trust or not. •Close Combat - As an Imperial jumptrooper, he sadly is not exactly up to Mandalorian combat standards regarding close up. Luckily, with a jetpack, he rarely gets close to people anyway. •Loyalty - he simultaneously has unwavering loyalty and conflicting loyalties. He believes the Empire is strong and should be followed, and will often place others, including himself, behind the needs of the Empire, but also has an unwavering devotion to Mandalore, so much that he secretly wishes they were free of the Empire (partially because he believes that they are stifling warrior tradition on Mandalore and partially because he believes Mandalore can handle itself, not to mention his family's Death Watch history). •Idealistic - Despite being a stormtrooper and having to chase down rebels and whatnot, he remains optimistic, even though he seems nothing like it at times. At heart he knows that everyone is fundamentally good, and that at worst people are mislead, uneducated, or simply wrong in their beliefs. He tends to believe people easily, and believes even rebels - or perhaps even a smart enough Separatist - can change loyalties to the Empire. Equipment • E-11 Blaster - It's regulation to have one. •2 WESTAR-35 Blaster Pistols - A little something the Empire allows him to have. Traditional Mandalorian pistols. •Jumptrooper Armor - Built to survive high atmosphere combat and whatnot. Can diffuse blaster bolts at long range, but closer up there might be a problem. •JT-12 Jetpack - A jetpack of Mandalorian design, very efficient. Brief Background: Tyroch Trank, House Vizsla, clan Trank. He was born on Mandalore in the capital city of Sundari. His family was wealthy and had relations to the governor of Concordia, Pre Vizsla. His family was the model family for the New Mandalorians. His family was, obviously, actually Death Watch. He was secretly trained in warrior ways and tested in combat by his brother, who was five years older. Of course, they skipped his jetpack training - couldn't really do that in a population center like Sundari. But they educated him on Death Watch protocol, and when the Clone Wars started, his parents and brother went off to serve in Death Watch in protest against Duchess Satine's pacifism in the war. Tyroch, however, stayed home, by order of his parents. He continued his studies by himself, researching Mandalorian's proud history as warriors, and practicing combat routines, as well as keeping up on his marksmanship. But his family never came back, though they were never reported as dead, either. Instead, the Empire came into existence, singlehandly claiming the majority of the known galaxy, and Death Watch became what was essentially a rebel group. Tyroch, however, enlisted in the Imperial Army instead of joining Death Watch in search of his parents and within a year his outstanding service (and the fact that his measurements matched up) placed him in the stormtrooper corps. Within an additional six months, he was placed into the jumptroopee division. His outstanding work, both early on against Seperatist holdouts and later against planets who refused to join the Empire, have earned him the notice of a certain Imperial commander.
