And of course, there's just the aesthetic of his pale skin and silver toned hair against the dark black tunic - colloquially called an assassin's tunic - that he just adores. He'll never admit it but he's got a bit of a flair for fashion. 

As far as grooming habits go, Antonije is fairly well kempt. He trims his nails regularly, shaves away any forming stubble, and cuts his own hair. The tragedy that killed his parents and then Constance's abuse have caused him to have a lot of underlying anger - though he directs it outwards at the world. He sees the injustice and the violence and death and war and chaos...And it breaks his heart. The world's a filthy place and as much as he wants it to change for the better, that's not within his power. Instead, he focuses his energy on protecting his sisters, the last family he truly has left. They're the end of the Magnisky line, as far as they're aware. 

He'll design machines and mechanisms until his heart bursts, finding pleasure in tinkering and creating. While others think that it's silly and dismiss it, pointing at the achievements of [b]Magyk[/b], Antonije is rather traditional and wishes to continue what his family has done for lifetimes. It helps that he is perceptive and clever, able to anticipate a problem before it has even arrived - whether it's predicting a war between factions or realizing the need for a device. He's a good person at his core, even if he himself does not realize it.

[b][color=cc33ff]Your Path:[/color][/b] The Magnisky family has been tinkering with metal and designs for centuries, millennia even. It was more or less expected that Antonije would do the same - but make no mistake, he loves the work. He fancies himself to be an inventor, a futurist of sorts, even as others perceive him to be just another adventurer. He travels the world, looking for ideas and components for his designs, researching as much as he can about the ancient world that was dominated by machines and mechanisms, rather than [b]Magyk[/b] and [b]Alchemie.[/b] Inventing, tinkering, learning - it comes to him naturally and if he were forced to stop...He'd rather perish in the flames than live like that. 

[b][color=cc33ff]General History:[/color][/b] Antonije, called Tate by those who have difficulty with names from the Eastern SnowPlains, is the oldest of three. Their mother came from an old family of tinkerers, with carefully guarded family secrets and heirlooms. His father was a former scribe, having dedicated his life to the "Revival of Steam." [b]Magyk[/b] had replaced machines and mechanisms, a fact that Antonije's parents sought to rectify with their work. With old money and resources to draw upon, as well as rumored land in the Big Wild Land Over the Ocean, the Magniskies continued their work - until there was a catastrophic accident and their factory blew up. 

Marya and Medea, Antonije's little sisters, managed to get everyone out in time thanks to their gift of speed. It was an old power that remained in the family, showing up every few generations. Yet with such a violent event, the Emperor of the Eastern SnowPlains could no longer turn a blind eye - what they were doing was against tradition and threatened their way of life. The family elected to leave the country, in order to continue their research, and they obtained ownership of a decrepit observatory in the Badlands of the Small Wet Country Across the Sea. 

There Antonije learned the family secrets and traditions, studying Ancient English so he could read copies of notes that went back millennia. He even translated them into Serbian for ease of reference. He studied machinery and mechanics, learning to invent and manipulate his environment to do as he wished without the use of [b]Magyk[/b], whereas his sisters just wanted to [i]run[/i]. While it was a new country, they were together as a family and truly wanted for very little. 

Tragedy struck again when he was in his teens. A contraption gone wrong took the lives of his parents, destroying many of their family heirlooms and artifacts in the process. His siblings managed to grab Antonije and ensure that he got out - but that was it. They were stranded and alone. Constance, the Port Witch, came to adopt all of them. Yet by the time Antonije's paperwork had been processed with the Port Authority, a stranger named Bruce Banner had adopted his sisters. It was through Bruce's initial neglect that he was able to be reunited with them again, as the twins would run to their old family home in the Badlands and spend time with their brother. Constance never argued against it, even helping the twins obtain admission into the Port Witch Coven.

But they're to protect the Castle and that protects his sisters, too.

He saw something in her and fell in love, eventually asking her to be his girlfriend. Outside of his family, she's the person he dislikes the least in the world. He calls her Silvija.

Antonije met Amarantha, as he meets most people in the Castle, at a tavern. One thing led to another and she commissioned him to create some designs for her army. Nothing too major - just a grenade or a few hundred or something like that. He's been keeping this secret from Bruce and Тетка, guessing they wouldn't like to hear he's making weapons. But they're to protect the Castle and that protects his sisters, too.

Antonije met Sylvi at the Galloping Cat Tavern - a competitor to the Winking Duck in the northern end of the Ramblings - in January. Although he initially tried to give her a telepathic suggestion to avoid him, not really wanting company, Sylvi ended up sitting near him and the two struck up a conversation. He saw something in her and fell in love, eventually asking her to be his girlfriend. Outside of his family, she's the person he dislikes the least in the world. He calls her Silvija. He hasn't told her his secret yet - something that threatens their relationship but he knows that she wouldn't understand.

Antonije knows that Myth is actually trying and while he refuses to call her fiancé anything other than Bruce, he refers to her as Тетка - the Serbian word for [i]aunt.[/i] She won't replace his mother by any means, but he once was willing to talk to her about his issues. After Chthon briefly possessed him, that changed. He's kept himself closed off from her. It's for her safety.

He still doesn't trust Bruce fully. After neglecting his sisters for a year, Antonije is skeptical that Bruce really wants to make a change. Despite reading his mind and knowing his intentions, the psychological traumas Antonije has gone through prevent him from believing him. He doesn't think of him as his father. He's just Bruce - his sisters' adoptive father. Antonije briefly lived with Bruce and Myth, but has since gotten his own place in the Ramblings.

Marya is his little sister. Antonije has always been there to protect her and he always will be. He's not as fast as she is, but he's got the brains to make up for it. If anyone ever hurt her, he'd kill them without question or remorse. They're family and all they have left is each other. She's also one of two witches that he doesn't despise.

Just like with Marya, Antonije is extremely protective over Medea. He wants her to have the best possible life, trying his best to keep her out of trouble and keep her safe. He used to want her and her sister to live with him, but now his life is too dangerous for them. They would try to get involved, try to help him, and it could get them killed. He won't let that happen.

Antonije's relationship with his ex-adoptive mother can only really be described as toxic. Constance adopted him for his talents and gifts, exploiting him through fear and manipulation to do what she wants. The lengthy scar on his back was a punishment for defying her. As much as Antonije wants nothing more than to see her rot, he is afraid that one day, she's going to come back and kill him, as well as his siblings. He intends to kill her first.
