A was sent to the captain's office as soon as he walked into the bureau's doors. He knew that meant they had a witness in a gang case. He was considered the agency's local agent. He knew more about the Chicago gangs than anyone else in the department because he had grown up in one. A wasn't proud of his knowledge but he would use it to help others. He only hoped it was a witness not some scumbag looking for immunity. He hated when he had to protect the guilty. He nodded at agents as he passed their desks. He didn't know any of them well. Despite being assigned to this department as soon as he graduated A barely knew anyone in the department. He kept to himself. He had never been much of a people person. WHich came in handy when he was protecting a witness. Once he reached the captain's office A opened the door and stepped inside to see what the day would hold.
