Penelope watched as Crow spoke with the merchant with a hint of curiosity. As he began to bargain with the other man, she was surprised to learn he had a bit of skill haggling with merchants. When they began to move away from the merchant, she bit back a smirk of amusement as she followed his lead and heard the merchant call back out to them. She looked back over at the merchant and stood back as Crow made the exchange to get the saddlebags. She fell instep besides him as they began to head back to meet up with William. Penelope glanced up at him and smirked. "Well, I wasn't expecting you to be such a haggler." She said with an amused look. "And here I thought I had already seen all your skills." The knight looked back ahead and slowed her pace, feeling reluctant to return back to William. She was nearly tempted to try and steal away a bit more time alone with Crow, however she knew that was a bad idea. The older knight was likely already growing impatient and they still needed to find a place to stay for the night. She let out a small sigh and walked a little closer to Crow. She hoped they'd be able to face William with a little more certainty now that there were no more misunderstandings between them. As they stepped out of the street and back into the forest, she began to make out the outline of the two horses and the pacing knight besides them. Penelope rolled her eyes as she noticed William had spotted them and was sending an annoyed glare at the two. "About time." He growled. "It shouldn't have taken that long to just get a few things."
