Between bites there was the sounds of something that were probably an apology about there being no other food as this wa sa bookstore, but she was diving back into eating again too quickly for it to be clear. Possible it was because she was half-starved, though unlikely. Or maybe it was because she was still concerned--despite the reassurance--that her food might be stolen by the hungry hulking behemoth. Oddly enough, she seemed quite interested in reading the papers, not 100% line by line scanning, but enough to get a good idea how things were going on. Black markets... how odd to be attending one to shut it down rather than as a customer. "I can supply distractions, but I don't think there's much else for me to do here... not unless someone tries to escape from it by running right past me. And I should probably be careful near mobsters, even if it [i]is[/i] the yakuza."
