The quietness of the borrowed room was the first thing that she had noticed upon waking. In fact, the whole house seemed to be eerily quiet and she knew the Weasley family; they hardly ever were quiet. Luka Ashcroft hated the silence. It reminded her of what had happened last night. Pulling on a pair of pants she left the room. Her eyes were still puffy from crying and the lack of sleep but she was sure that the others would be in worse shape. Most of her night had been spent with Fred and George. Halfway down the hall she met up with Ginny; the two falling from their impact. “Sorry,” Luka said as she offered her hand to Ginny. The red haired girl smiled slightly, or she tried to at least. “How was George?” Ginny asked. She had been unable to see her brothers last night, being the youngest she had always thought that her brothers were near invincible. Of course she knew they could get hurt but she never expected them to be seriously injured. “As good as he can be. It’s been a few hours since I last sat with him.” Luka had only left the twins two hours ago so she could get some sleep. It had been a failure as only small handfuls of time were given away to slumber. “I’m going to check on him and maybe, hopefully, Fred can get some sleep.” Ginny nodded and let the girl pass silently. Luka sighed softly as she stood outside of the Twins’ bed room. Opening the door to find Fred gone and George sitting up, Luka shook her head. “Hey George,” she said quietly as she made her way over to him. She wondered briefly where Fred was; perhaps he had gone to get their mum or dad. “I probably know the answer already but how are you feeling?” She had feared last night that he would have died. Luka held the twins dear to her heart, more so than anyone else in her life. If one of them died she didn’t know what she would do with herself. Probably go insane. The young witch gently touched the side of his arm, “Is there anything you need?” Unlike the others, Luka had only a few minor injuries; a split lip from smacking her face in her hurry to get inside last night and sore muscles from twisting and turning so much. Hers were nothing compared to others. ~*~*~*~*~ Oliver was looking around the room quietly as he debated on what to do. Everything had happened so fast last night. He had caught Ophelia as she fell from her broom. If he wouldn’t have been there she could have died last night, or at least she wouldn’t have come back without a few broken bones. He remembered George’s injury and how worried everyone was and still is. Oliver had been the one to help Luka with her split lip; give it to the girl to injure herself while so worried about everyone else. Oliver had stayed part of the night looking over Lia, since Luka had been gone frequently. Pulling on his shirt, the man went to check on George. It was no surprise that Luka was there, last night he thought that she was going to sleep beside George. “Hey…” he said, “How’s everything going?” It was a useless question but it had made the girl crack a small smile. “Did you go to sleep?” He asked Luka, worried for the girl’s sanity. Oliver had been her shoulder to cry on for a few hours last night. “As good as I could,” she lied. Oliver winced at her painfully obvious lie but he couldn’t blame her. He had worried last night as well. “Have you seen Lia?” he asked. “No. She was gone when I woke up but she’s probably with Charlie.” Luka said to him, “Thank you for saving her last night, Oliver.” The man gave a small nod before leaving the two friends in peace as he went to find Charlie and Ophelia. He bumped into Ginny, who was on her way down the stairs and to the kitchen. “I’m sure they’re in the kitchen with my mum.” Ginny smiled before breaking from Oliver once their feet hit the first floor. She rushed to the small group that Harry, Ron and Hermione had made. He finally found them after a short walk into the kitchen. “Mornin’ Mrs. Weasley.” He said with a polite smile, “How are you feeling Lia?” he asked the witch. Oliver’s eyes scanned over her for any signs of bleeding or whatnot. He was still very worried about her after all. Even after being told she was fine.
