[@Ezekiel] Very fair, it does have a lot of potential for powergaming. I was so enamored with the concept I didn't think too much about that, I admit. I think I'd better build in some weaknesses. The idea is it's a high end job, but fundamentally a compromise between combat functionality and good quality of life. That suggests some inherent weaknesses. Some thoughts: -Only core functions EMP hardened (basic movement, life support) -Even with high end security, still vulnerable to hacking (except perhaps core functions) -Limited endurance? (Limitations on how much can be powered at once) As I write that last one a thought comes up: ever play Crysis? Something like that might work, except only strength, speed, and armour. Like, he could harden internal carbon weave to resist bullets, but only as long as the power supply can last, and can't use enhanced strength or speed at the same time? Similarly could provide boosts to speed or strength, but only for limited time before the power supply needs to recharge. When not in any particular mode, he'd be no better off than any regular augmented person (that is to say, slightly better than a baseline human, but far from superhuman). Thoughts? As for discord, I'm a fan. I find it's really good for brainstorming.
