How are we commandeering his work? All we've done is go ahead and post. At no point have we prevented Polybius from posting his own introductory post as he has already reserved a first post. Secondly, I don't see this as stealing his lore, as everyone who had posted IC was accepted to post in the setting we all had a hand in establishing. Additionally, I've RP'd with Poly several times over the years, and from what I know of him, I think he would be quite alright with us going ahead.

The only other alternative, the one that you seem to be presenting, is that we wait around indefinitely without good reason. I see no ethical reason that we should not go ahead and keep the momentum of this RP going. I'm not going to edit out my post, and I urge those of you who have made posts to leave them and continue posting.
