Soon Neil Diamond crooned about how lonely he was and how he’s tried to fill the emptiness inside but it won’t let him go. For a sixteen year old she was very eclectic in her music. Most sixteen year olds in 2018 didn’t have a clue who Neil was. Her parents always said she was an “old soul”. She walked through the airport Foreigner’s [i]Urgent[/i] started playing and she started to dance a little bit as she walked to get her luggage. Lost in her own world she gathered stares from other passengers. She got to the baggage claim area and saw her psychedelic paisley patterned luggage that she’d begged her parents for come through she was humming [i]Somebody to Love[/i] by Jefferson Airplane and tapping her foot to the beat. Gathering up her luggage of a wheel bound case and a hard case both in the matching print she headed to the main thoroughfare where she saw some guy holding a sign that said O’Brian.

Smirking at the fact that the music had turned to [i]Under Pressure[/i] by Queen and David Bowie she walked up to the guy and pulled out an earbud.[color=green] “Uná O’Brian here. Unless that’s for another O’Brian.”[/color] She smiled at the guy brightly her eyes sparkling like a clear stream reflecting sunlight. She’d enough caffeine to keep her awake through the plane ride and a little more. She wouldn’t be prescribed anymore Hypnocil and she needed to try and be as normal as she could be. She had enough for a month left. She snapped back to reality in the middle of his sentence.

“-at the Ashford Institute for the Gifted then yes.” He was laughing silently.

Raising an eyebrow and grinning at the guy she held out her hand.[color=green] “Yep thats me. So I’m ready if you are just point the way.”[/color] He shook her hand and lead her out to a black car. Taking her luggage he put it in the trunk and they were off. 

Fifteen minutes later they were pulling up to something that looked like it was out of a Jane Austen novel. Grinning Uná took in the sight of her new school and home.[color=green][i] Its gorgeous!!! Thank goodness LA was warm and not cold. She clutched the [url=https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSM518uTjCjsRuaRENB3ts09adLpaGbqqR5MUiodz8rzzqXg621PA]hat[/url] she had on as the wind picked up just a little. Laughing she looked down at her feet as some pretty leaves blew onto her [url=https://i.pinimg.com/originals/97/48/68/9748683bf5f15c5adb4575c7c02d5dc6.jpg]boots[/url] and turned to let them blow by. 

Gathering her luggage she strolled up the handset walkway of stone to the front door. Looking around at the beautiful campus she marveled at the enormous windows.[color=green][i] This place is gorgeous!!! I wonder how old it is!! Maybe it has a garden!!! That would be amazing!! I hope if they have one that it’s an herb garden!!![/i][/color] Upon arriving at the front door she knocks and waits. Fidgeting she decides to open the door and walk in.[hr]

Uná smiles as she heads off to her room to put her books away. First week here and no dreams so far. The last time she used the Hypnocil was on the first day she got here. Her roommate Temperance was a blast and they got along really well. Most times if Uná was swinging into one of her morose moods all she had to do was talk to Temperance and that pulled her out of it.

Uná’s plans for today were to head outside and do a little Parkour on the way. She’d been repeatedly told not to do any inside but in designated areas by Mr. Pierce but that was no fun. Getting to the room she unlocked the door put her books on her desk and practically ran out the door. Almost forgetting to lock it. Without thinking about it she was lightly running and hand springing down the girls dorm. They, Temperance and her, were on the second floor. More fun if they wanted to sneak out. More complicated but more fun. She got to the stairs and grinned she backflipped to the first landing then vaulted over the railing dropping in between the wall of the hallway that had the stairs and scaring the crap out of Lily.[color=green] “Sorry Lily!!!”[/color] Uná called over her shoulder as she bounded away before Lily could get really mad.

Flipping over couches and chairs in the common room she ran out the door that was just opened by someone the swing on the return for the door was fast and Uná felt a rush as she dove for it and slipped outside.Doing three back flips and a round off at the end she sighed and tilted her face to the sunshine.[color=green][i] Freedom!!![/i][/color] She took a deep breath and smelled smoke and looked over her shoulder and raised an eyebrow at the dude smoking.[color=green] “Bet you get this all the time but those are really bad for you. I’m Uná. You are?”[/color] She walked over to him smirking blue eyes flashing and held out her hand to shake.
