Dark, thick locks of hair cascade down her back and curls around her youthful face. She has a prominent nose and full lips that always look poised to speak something important, but her most compelling features are her piercing brown eyes that can change from affection to aversion in an instant without notice. Weighing in at a little over one hundred sixty pounds and standing at five feet, ten inches tall in flats with all the grace and poise of a queen, Venus probably could have been a model if she had wanted to venture into that profession. Venus carries herself elegantly with good posture, long confident strides, and her head held high. Due to this and her love of high heels, she often looks taller than she really is. The young woman also has a total of five tattoos; three cover her entire forearm, and the other two are on her thighs.

When it comes to her fashion sense, Venus always dresses to impress and loves making statements and setting trends. Her style can best be lumped in with urban-chic or street wear fashion. She has a talent for putting an interesting twist on what she wears, mixing high-end and low-end effortlessly. She does love striking makeup, though only when she wants to make a scene; her everyday glam consists of nude and brown shades of eye shadow, lipstick, and blush; she makes sure not to cover her freckles when applying makeup. As far as jewelry goes, Venus is always iced out. [indent][color=#527032]»[/color] For as long as anyone can remember, Venus Carter has always proven herself to be a calm, cool, and collected individual. Like her daddy, Venus is very laid-back; she doesn't stress over little things, simply preferring to take them in stride. If you were to ask one of her close friends to describe the young woman, the first few words that would come spilling out of their mouths would be something along the lines of "sarcastic," "brutally honest," or "quick-witted." In her community, Venus is known for her ability to come up with hilarious jokes or comebacks on the spot; this can easily be seen in one of her early YouTube videos where she had a "roast session" with a boy from her middle school. Another positive trait that Venus possesses is her personality or charisma; this, paired with her natural ability to make others laugh, was what initially drew people to her videos.

Unfortunately, while Venus does have many great, positive attributes, she also has a few that she needs to work on improving or getting rid of altogether, the main one being her brutal honesty. While this can be fun to use in her videos, it also tends to put a burden on her long and short-term relationships. Venus always speaks what's on her mind, and doesn't always stop to think about how what she says will affect the feelings of others. When this is paired with her sarcastic nature, it is easy for Venus to hurt the feelings of those she cares about. Another negative aspect of Venus is that she is very non-committal; unlike most of her peers, Venus prefers not to be tied down to just one man or woman. [indent][color=#527032]»[/color] [i]"What's up y'all, it's ya girl, Venus. Welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm going to do something a little different from what I usually post. Since I've been getting a lot of questions recently about who I am and what my 'story' is, I've decided to make a video telling you all a little bit more about myself. It's actually really funny how I've had this shit since I was twelve years old, and all you guys really know about me is that I'm a New Yorker who was named after a planet. 

I guess I'll start off with the basics. My name is Venus London Carter, and I was born on the first of November in Queens, New York, to a Jamaican and a Dominican immigrant. I've lived in Jamaica, Queens, my entire life; together, my family lived in a small two-bedroom apartment not too far from the Bowne House. I wouldn't consider Jamaica to be a 'bad' neighborhood, but it sure ain't no Tribeca. Anyways, my dad works as a chef in this local Jamaican restaurant, shout out to Yogi's, and my mom has her own housekeeping business. No, we weren't very fortunate, but my parents always worked their asses off to make sure that I had everything I needed to live a happy life, and for that I will be forever grateful. 

So, I eventually grew up and went to school or whatever. That was around the time that I met the group of friends that you all are always seeing in my videos. Man, grade school with those guys was a fucking blast. I mean, y'all know that I'm all laid-back and shit, but we used to cause some real [i]trouble[/i] when we rode the train to school every morning. And don't even get me started on what went down in class; I swear I almost got put out of class every single day for 'talking back' or 'mouthing off' to the teachers. That's what I was known for: being the class clown. But it wasn't even like I wanted attention or anything, I just always said whatever came to my mind, even when it wasn't appropriate to do so. I almost got in some serious trouble for all of that back in like the seventh grade, though, so I decided to take my 'talents' to YouTube. And, well... the rest is history.

I don't do that class clown stuff as much as I used to, especially now that I'm in college and trying to get my life together. I moved to Brooklyn after I graduated from high school, and now I go to Long Island University. I'm in the Media Arts department, you know, since I'm trying to get all serious with this photography stuff. However, thanks to YouTube and all of you beautiful ass subscribers, I still get to do the one thing I love most in this world: make other people laugh. It really warms my heart when you all leave these kind messages; I'm glad that my videos are able to bring so much joy and laughter to everyone who watches them..."[/i]

When Venus received the invitation to come on the cruise, she accepted it without thinking twice. While she wasn't too excited about having her every move be watched and documented for the next couple of weeks, she was ecstatic to visit these exotic corners of the world. It also gives her an opportunity to expand her channel, which is something she has wanted to do for a while.[/indent]
