She hadn't even noticed Lucas had taken a seat across from her; she had been much too engrossed in her phone. She was rapidly approaching one million followers and had been trying to think of a way to celebrate. Her initial thought was possibly a bikini picture or something along those lines, but she really wanted to offer an incentive or something. A shout-out video? A signed magazine? Her weekend had been filled with trying to come up with something and being informed that she needed to start recruiting some 'fresh blood' for the squad. Except, anyone who would actually want to be a cheerleader would have already approached her. Putting her phone down, Nadia tilted her head at the grinning Lucas. "Hi to you, too," She replied, frowning. "What do you mean?" He gestured towards the rather simple peanut-butter and jelly sandwich on her plate. She had cut off the crusts and trimmed it so it was a nice rectangle, though she cut out a heart shaped piece that showed some of the jelly inside. "That's so basic I think I'll use you as an example on a pH scale," Lucas reiterated himself. "It's cute!" She insisted. "It's so tedious, it's a sandwich." Nadia couldn't help but pout. Okay, she had gone a little overboard, but she liked doing cute stuff. So what? Now that Lucas was with her, maybe he could help her out with one of her problems. As she sat there, listening to Lucas laugh at her, she decided to ask, "Say, you don't know any girls that want to join the cheerleading squad, do you?" Lucas stopped laughing long enough to actually think. After a few moments, he suggested, "Hold some open auditions, that'll at least get some freshman desperate to prove themselves," He paused. "And then let me know so I can have my own auditions." Wrinkling her nose in disapproval, she had to admit that his first idea was good. Taking a hold of her phone, she sent out a mass text, making sure one of her juniors would go ahead and make posters to plaster all over the school. She also suggested they try to get anyone to come--at this point, so long as she got at least one or two new recruits, she would count it as a success. When she looked up, she saw Lucas had started eating her sandwich. She let out a slight whine of sadness, though she wouldn't do anything. All that work for nothing! Oh well.
