He was used to being popular at school and being surrounded by people who wanted to talk to him, but there was something different about being one of the two youngest in such a large group of strangers. That... and these weren't normal people. They possessed intense personalities. Nearly everyone in Seattle just seemed so... gray. Bland. They would stand up and sit down when commanded, and spoke when spoken to. But everyone here... Hell, they were gods among men. Rather attractive, model-like gods with insane powers. Even someone with the ego of the explosive mutant couldn't help but feel both energized and uneasy by such a dynamic. Sally's questions didn't help matters. What was he supposed to say? I can only blow shit up, or I get a little stronger when a bomb goes off in my face? At least, that's how Nik figured it worked. He hadn't exactly been in many terrorist situations once he found out about his powers... and quite frankly wasn't keen on jumping into one now to find out. Though, that would be pretty fun. It would be like Die Hard... Oh, I should watch that again soon... As Nik sat and watched events unfold, his eyebrows couldn't help but rise at the appearance of another newcomer. One whom even Nik could infer by reputation at this point... and someone he certainly didn't want to get close to. Nik hopped up to his feet as D posed a question to the group. Getting out of here sounded interesting... but... "I don't know if all of us going out and hitting up the town is a good idea. The public isn't fond of those with certain... abilities. It could take a single reference to our powers or accidental demonstration and we could have a mob at our throats. There's plenty of things to do here... swimming, basketball, some good old football in the yard..." He looked everyone over with an uncertain smile spread across his lips. He honestly wanted to go out and do something normal, but something in Nik's gut forebode disaster if they left the campus.
