A few eyes looked over to Xia's direction and a few whispers followed. Were people judging her? She didn't really look like she belonged in this atmosphere but then again, there's many places in Sol that looked like Xia didn't belong to. That's the common of coming from the background a bit different that what Marlin came from. But who gives a fuck what people thinks of her? Xia could wipe a monkey's ass with what people thought of her. As long as someone wasn't being a dick or a bitch around her or someone she cares about, she could care less. Though...Xia told herself she was going to be on her best behavior, she knew Marlin carried some baggage but what kind of girlfriend would she be if she was a conditional kind of girl and not very supportive. 

That was when she caught the sight of Marlin coming down the stairs. She looked gorgeous. Yet again, another side she managed to catch that made Xia's mouth dropped. She smiled warmly when Marlin came over and hugged her. What surprised her was that her girlfriend managed to kiss her in front of a larger crowd and a little longer than before. She returned the kiss back to her openly since Marlin took the first step. With her arms around Marlin and her hand still holding her small pocketbook, She looked her in the eyes. [color=f7976a]Thank you thank you, babe! You look breathtaking yourself. I love this look on you. And no worries, we are going to make the most of it tonight. 
 And hey hey...I'm here for you. No need to be scared. But you know...I will cut a bitch tonight if they fuck with you. I'm gonna be a good girl tonight but that's just fair warning in case something starts to jump off.[/color] She told her already showing that ride or die attitude. 

Upon intertwining her fingers with Marlin, Xia went with her to meet the ones, Marlin was introducing to her. It was an honor meeting her mother for the first time. Xia looked at Maria, Her sister, Vika, A familiar face, Paige and the artist herself, Siobhan. Xia smirked [color=f7976a]Nice to meet you Miss Maria. And thank you, you look beautiful as well. I feel I'm the lucky one to have met quite a girl such as Marlin.[/color] She answered back with a smile. Upon Vika coming to speak up, Xia's attention went to her and gave a simple nod. [color=f7976a]Not only will I be nice but I'm all about the support. Good to see you again, Victoria.[/color] She responded.

Xia looked over to Paige, noticing what she had in her hand and the technique she just used, Xia slightly smirked. She didn't exactly catch what she did but she had an idea. She was not certain but she probably seen that performed before on tv or something but he attention went back to Marlin after she waves at Paige and smiled warmly to the woman she made an acquaintance with back at the gym. 

[color=f7976a]No need to apologize. It's all good. But if you have a problem and you need me, I'm here, okay hun?[/color] She responded to try and help Marlin keep her cool. Xia may not have said it but the look of slight worry that there would be drama was written all over Marlin's face but she was going to just roll with the punches for now. 

With Xia getting a drink and going with Marlin, she soon then formally met Siobhan. Xia matched her firm handshake with her own and gave a smile just to be nice when the woman came over to speak. But something about her made Xia wonder for a moment when she brought up two names from Marlin's past. She learn a little about the two males she named but was she just being messy or was this how she was? Xia kept her cool and played along [color=f7976a]It's nice to meet you too Siobhan. Heard a little about you but it's nice to put a face with the name. But again...nice to meet you...[/color] She said keeping things simple while placing her around Marlin's waist to show her support to her before Sio walked away and the smile she wore started to fade into a slight serious expression

After that little introduction and small talk with Sio, Xia leaned in to Marlin and whispered [color=f7976a]Okay...um...I don't know if I'm reading too much on this but was she being genuine or was she being fake and messy as fuck?[/color] She asked Marlin while keeping her eyes on Siobhan while she went over to Milo and Paige to speak with them and giggling some making her feel that woman must've just said something about them. If this was going to be an evening of slick talk, shade, fake kindness, this was going to be a long night and Xia was not going to be able to keep her promise if it seems that people were going to take jabs at her girlfriend all night. She never gave a damn what people thought or said tabout her but if someone was going to go out their way to make Marlin's life a living hell, Xia was going to go out her way to put her foot up someone's ass and that's in general.
