While he's clearly not setting any strength records, his build believably matches a runner or gymnast, and he has the flexibility and leg strength to back it up. Small areas of his body seem to dissociate into pixel-like bits at random, seemingly without physical consequence; as if he were a video game character experiencing a weird graphical glitch. The frequency of this phenomenon seems to increase when Shun is nervous or unsettled, or when he's recently used his quirk. Shun is nothing if not energetic, and can be frequently seen exhibiting some idle tic when standing or sitting still; ranging from innocent tapping of fingers to outright bouncing up and down on his feet. He's likewise very animated when talking, channeling his usual enthusiasm and boundless energy into grand gesticulations and dramatic faces. Quirk: Pixelation - Shun is capable of short-ranged teleportation (at most a few meters) by discorporating himself into small cuboid bits. His movement can be vaguely predicted by watching the direction of movement the pixels seem to flow in immediately upon his pixelation, and he requires time to restabilize his body after each "jump". Repeated use of his quirk in a short period of time leads to an increasingly unstable body, resulting in impaired vision, coordination, movement, and eventually cognitive function at high levels of bodily corruption. Questions:

Given its reputation, why apply to Kokoro Academy? "Given my, ahem, stellar academic record and grades, did I really have another choice? Who wants to go to U.A. anyway? I don't. And that's not just because I applied and got rejected. I'm sure Kokoro isn't as bad as the rumors say! I don't need state of the art institutions to be a good hero, what matters is attitude and positivity!"
Why do you want to be a professional hero? "Because they're awesome! Wait, that's not a good answer, let me try again! I don't necessarily think someone like me will get too famous or anything, my quirk isn't too flashy and it's not all that awe-inspiring. But, I think it's a real honor to have people look up to you and trust you with their safety, even if it's just a few fans. Even the lowest ranked sidekick can change a person's life if that hero helps them in their time of need, and I aspire to be that change."
What kind of professional hero do you want to become? "The kind of hero everyone should want to be, one who makes people feel safe and protected! Although, even if people underestimate me, that's just an advantage in my book. Kinda hurts my pride, but... an advantage nevertheless! I think I could be a good asset to a group in a combat or rescue situation. I'm fast, and I can sweep an area for fleeing villains or civilians in peril at the very least. Plus I'm gonna be super good at fighting! That's what they teach in hero programs, right?
Best describe yourself in five sentences. "Well, people say I ramble a lot and just say whatever comes to mind and that I have this 'stream of consciousness' way of talking. Which is a bit true, but I like to think it makes me honest! It's very important, in my opinion, to let other people in on your thought process during high-stress situations, so that everyone can contribute to thinking out the best plan. I may not get model grades, but I like to think I have a shrewd mind for tactics when it counts, since my quirk's main advantage in a fight is positioning. And I'm a great team player! I don't expect much glory anyway, and it's better to efficiently save people than show off for the media, I think. Admittedly, a lot of people think I'm annoying and that I have no regard for personal space but I swear I try my best to be friendly! They must just be shy, or something."
What are you interests and hobbies apart? "Kickboxing! I was never very big, even when I was little, so whenever I told people I wanted to be a hero they'd, y'know, laugh. That's why I had to learn to fight! I think my mom ended up suggesting it originally. Mostly because she claimed it would help me 'burn off energy' so I wouldn't keep 'bouncing off the walls' because 'Shun, you broke the expensive vase' and I told her I was sorry like a hundred times but- Sorry, off topic. But I ended up with pretty nice legs out of the deal! Martial arts also prepared me for getting beat up a lot! Which is a useful skill in the hero profession, I'd assume? I'm into the usual teenager stuff too, video games and what not. People think my quirk lets me cheat, though. I think it's the look, because I definitely haven't found out a way to do that yet."
Are there any notable accomplishments you want to us to be aware of? "Well, I did mention I already knew how to fight, sort of. I can't exactly overpower people per se, but I can just warp to whereever their guard is down, at least in theory. I almost won a kickboxing competition once but then a guy who was so big, he had to have a muscle quirk, kicked me in the jaw. Which was totally unfair, because my quirk was against the rules but his was fine! And it might've been only the third round but I could've totally took all the guys after him if he wasn't there!
Tell us something about your quirk that most might not know? Any events or memories, be it joyous or ill, tied to it? "I can take stuff with me when I jump! Small things, mostly, like clothes. I have to be touching it. I've never really tried with another person because I'm afraid I might not put them back together right. It's a real pain when I don't coalesce correctly after a jump, so I'd hate to do that to someone else. Especially if they don't just fix themselves like I do, they could be all pixel-y forever! And that's if my quirk can even handle something that big, most people are bigger than I am! As for stories, there was that thing I mentioned earlier with the vase. I may have been trying to literally bounce off the walls with my quirk and I may have overused it and it may have resulted in a very confused and sick-feeling me knocking the expensive art piece off the nice table. I swear, I was just trying to practice for when I'd be scaling walls in an alleyway in a big fight with a villain! Does that happen, or is that just a movie thing?"
Why should we consider you over the other applicants? What can you offer that they cannot? "I think that a lot of people would be bitter about only getting into a school with such a, erm, reputation and might not do their best. That's why I think that their negativity needs something cheery to balance it out! I used to put myself down a lot when I was little, and I learned that negativity doesn't breed success. So, I think I'd be conductive to classroom culture! I swear I'm not disruptive. At least not intentionally, sometimes I just get really eager to understand something but the teacher usually looks at me like an idiot when I ask. Actually, in hindsight, it may have just been because I usually blurted it out. Beyond that, though, I think I have the makings of a good hero if I work hard, and would be extremely honored to take part in your academic program in order to live out my dreams!"
