Somehow Antaeus managed to shift his weight and still hold on as this insane woman bludgeoned this massive, massive creature against the earth. Was she some kind of demi-god!? Antaeus knew himself to be pretty darn close to "strong as an ox," but there would be no way he could lift a creature of this size over his head, much less throw it! Either this woman was an experienced adventurer of some sort already, or something was very wrong with this picture.

But there was no time for any of that! The beast was down, pinned in place. If ever there was a time to try and finish the creature off, now was it! But while virtually sitting atop the beast, could he make effective use of his javelins and darts? No...but there was one more option!

From the loop on the side of his backpack, Antaeus reached back with a practiced motion and grasped his trusty old friend--a pickaxe, kept sharp and in good condition for daily use. Using his legs to grip the body of the creature below him, he quickly grasped its haft in both hands and raised it over his head. With all the strength of a veteran rock crusher he brought it down at the Stag's skull...
