A sly smile came upon Scatha's face as she looked around. The entire area was already full of wire it seems. Of course the girl was setting up this whole time, it made more sense than anything else. As the two opponents helped each other out, the winds suddenly got way more violently as Scatha gently put her feet back on the ground to make moving around a slight bit easier. "Yeah, Scatha's a pretty boring matchup for me. Can't really brawl with someone that slow, you know?" Black Knight was gunning right for her, and, within in a millisecond, Scatha was right out of there. A springed up bit of ink sent her flying off away from the field like she was the fastest bullet on the planet, twirling, spinning, and swinging on the wires to avoid them until she was far away enough that the swings were hitting thin air while she stood on a wire. Unkbenownst to the others except probably Touka, she was on the highest of the strings, trying to have the advantage by being where she wouldn't be too hampered. And if things became problematic, just gotta dive right back in and make the knight's life hell. The ink was already right back to her location, it covering the tree she was near, as she generated more. With a raised palm, it flew right off to where the Black Knight was in large, thick but finely sharp needles. In mid-air, however, that's when they were split apart by the wires around, dividing them but instead allowing them to rain down upon her as hundreds, if not thousands. They were highly condensed despite they're newly small size however. Even slowly being melted by the flames, they would last long enough to meet their target. If she moved, well, she'd have to deal with the strings and the more dense needles that hadn't split as much yet. Thankfully, there wasn't much if any leftover ink stuck to the wires that cut them. Meanwhile, the armor finally was done and finished. To most, it wasn't really anything special in appearance. It litereally looked like she was just covered in tar or oil over her clothes, except her head and hair. But it was far more durable than a person would think and a resilient little bugger. Her wings ready, her sword out, herself armored, she was ready for the next moves. Cut, cut, cut. Every wire she could, Ami cut away. A few scraped at her flesh, minor injuries, but those were quickly cut away as well. How rude, to set up the battlefield without telling anyone. Rude as hell. It would have annoying if it weren't for the fact that Ami was having so much fun. Ami chased after Scatha like a mad dog, cutting every wire in her path as Scatha used them to keep away. Sure, Ami could have tried to use them as well to propel herself forwards. But she was no graceful acrobat, spinning in the air like a snowflake caught in the wind. She was a bullet, made to go in a straight line through any problems in her path. Every step on the ground was accompanied by an explosion, propelling herself faster and faster. Cut, boom, cut, boom, cut, boom. She leaped towards Scatha as she stood on high, only to dodge to the left with a spout of flame as needles assaulted her. A few struck, more minor injuries, but Ami barely even noticed. She was covered in a myriad of minor scratches and bruises, but they were nothing. The fight continued until she was unconcious or dead. She rocketed towards Scatha from below, cutting through all the wires in her path as she roared like a primal beast. She swung her sword up at Scatha, going for her stomach to try and disembowel her... Only to let of of her sword. The blade flew out of her hands, past Scatha and embedding itself in a tree. But Ami did not halt her momentum as she wound up a massive punch from below, a rocket powered uppercut aimed straight for Scatha's chin. The flames were as bright as they were going to get, where Scatha had her armor of ink, Ami had covered herself in an inferno. Not much for defense, but it made damn sure that every single hit Ami made was gonna hurt. Meanwhile, the sword was doing it's own thing. Still covered in flames like it's owner, the tree it had embedded itself into quickly caught fire. And of course in the middle of a forest, if one tree caught flame then others would follow. The flames were feasted on the storm Ami had kicked up earlier, whipping about wildly as it began to spread. Well, the fact that it took this long for a fire to start was really a testament to her self control. "Ugh..." Red Wire had really, really not wanted to get too involved in all this. Really. But the other Dark Magical Girls were decidely going all out in their endeavors. From Battoru zipping about like a speeding bullet, to Ami literally setting the forest ablaze now, Touka was hardpressed not to land her face in her palm from the sheer escalation of it all. "Kanbaru. Kanbaru, I know you can hear me. Get your ass over here and fix this," she hissed, twisting her body to the side and dashing away from Battoru's kick. The moment her boots landed upon a burning branch, Red Wire was already gone in a flash of speed, the air itself being cut with each movement of her body and everywhere she went. So far, she didn't try to attack Battoru, instead leaping from tree to burning tree, any air around her leaving cuts to whoever was foolish enough to be in her vicinity. The boot stopped moments before it smashed into the branch below, and Asura gave chase as well, accelerating further as her hands gracefully twisted and bent, nudging the unseen blades away from her own form. If pressed, she could probably endure those razor-sharp wires that were the name sake of Touka's magical girl moniker, but there wasn't any finesse in that, was there? Somersaulting, cat passing, sliding, flipping, Asura followed Red Wire in the most osentatious display of pseudo-martial acrobatics, keeping just behind enough so that the passive defenses that the president wove wasn't wholly nulled by proximity. "C'mon, prez," the melee fighter said in a remarkably relaxed tone, "Why're bringing Fortuna into this when she's been dropping glaciers since this event began? Sounds like even more escalation to me~" It seems like the fire girl wanted Scatha and only Scatha as her opponent. As Touka and Battoru ran off and, in probably the smartest decision of the night, bringing someone to take care of the coming forest fire, Scatha remained as the Black Knight descended upon her. She gave a crack of her neck in anticipation, as the flame covered foe went for a slash, down to up. Instictively, she jumped and dodged to the left. The flaming uppercut made her barely even notice the nearby tree quickly spring up into a blaze. Instead, she simply backflipped onto yet another, not quite as firey branch of a tree that was someways away from the initial one. As she did, another tendril of ink shot up and formed its petal like design behind the Black Knight, ready to assist as a sentry. It was the first of a few, as two more slowly rose up, though kept a bit more safe by the wires that surrounded them. A slightly interested smile sprang up as she tightened her grip on her inky sword. "You're definitely making this a lot more of a thrill now..." The smile soon broke into a completely manic, incredibly pleased grin. Her eyes went wide with enjoyment at this challenger. This is exactly what she wanted...She wanted to see these girls bring their best to take her down. Anything else would be a damn disappointment! "Let's see what a knight can do! Ahaha!" She said, her excitement bringing out an enthused laugh at the very end. With it, she brought her sword down in a slash, letting out a fairly wide arc of ink from it. At the same time, the flower petaled sentry gave its assist, sending out 3 blasts at the brave lass. "Artful Blade! Dark Sentry!" As the two attacks flew out, Scatha was already another step ahead. The sheer power of the slash was used with a jump to propel her even further back, making sure to get distance. Those flames were dangerous and she's shrugging off hits, so staying close was just a fool's errand. Evasion and tactics was the name of the game today. Ami held out her hand in the direction of her sword, willing it to return to her grasp as she continued to pursue the slippery Scatha that scurried away. A trail of flame followed the sword as it flew towards the Black Knight, she caught it with ease and let it's momentum pull her out of the way of both Scatha's attacks as she landed on the ground, a few additional scratches to add from the wires around. She swung wildly, cutting apart any wires within five feet of her as she growled in annoyance. "Stop running away coward!" At first the game of cat and mouse had been amusing, but now the novelty of fighting a retreating opponent was wearing off. She swung her sword in the air a few more times, creating waves of flame to try and intercept Scatha, but they would most likely be dodged with the same ease that Scatha had been dodging all her attacks. Luckily they weren't supposed to hit. Each wave struck a different tree, adding them to the growing inferno as Ami continued her assault on the dodging Scatha. Judging by how she had been dodging this whole encounter, she would likely go in a circular pattern to the left around Ami, trying to strike at her from behind with hit and run tactics. Well now it was time to change up the game. By the time Ami was done, all the trees around her would be burning or already incinerated, creating an empty field of melted snow and scorched plant life. Or as Ami liked to call it, a combat arena. No more trees for Scatha to retreat to, no more places for Red Wire to attach wires to cut Ami up, just a circle of flaming trees that surrounded Ami and Scatha. "Come on then, lets end this. I'll try not to maim you too much!" There was no final dash towards Scatha, just a simple gesture with her hand as the Black Knight let the flames of her armor consume her. A clenched fist with index finger beckoning Scatha towards her doom as the circle of fire around them burned ever hotter. "Stop running away coward!" Just that mere moment of rage from her made Scatha's grin grew even bigger than it once was as she evaded. Even if she was trying to kill her, her rage was actually kind of adorable in its strange, very melty way. Like a kid throwing a fit almost. Her sword flames also couldn't even hit her mark at the speeds Scatha was moving at. She'd almost pitied how quickly one-sided this had gotten...even she didn't realize something mid-pity thought. Her grin stopped as she looked around and observed that each wave, while not hitting her, was hitting almost every tree head on. True she could evade the slashes, but her goal wasn't even to actually have them make contact. On her, anyways. Even if it was gonna make her life harder, Scatha couldn't help but smile as she looked back at the Black Knight, continuing to dodge her attacks to be extra safe. Girl might be hot tempered, but it seems she's got a few tricks. "And here I thought you were just going fight psycho..." As they both screeched to a halt on opposing sides of the newly made circle, Scatha slowly moved back up, making sure to keep eye contact on the Black Knight. It wasn't as a sign of anger or fear of an attack. No...It was a sign of excitement. The place was burned right down to the dirt and there was no escaping. The large ring of red, painfully flickering lights made sure of that. The fire-soaked magical girl wanted this to be a head on fight huh? Fine, she's won her opportunity. She better not regret it when she loses though. The inked wings spread back open, wide and larger than before as her grip grew tighter on her sword, only to point it right at the Black Knight...No. For now, at least, it was Ami. "That's pretty big talk, you know! But that's fine..." She pointed her thumb at her temple. "Cause this head is the best trophy a warrior could receive!" Contrary to what Ami was expecting, she did not move. Instead, her back straightened up yet remained loose. Her arms extended fully as she dual-wielded her large sword and her knees were at a slight bend, ready to fly forward. Her eyes narrowed as she stared down her classmate and opponent. It was truly time to settle this. "Bring it oooon!" She roared out loud. The minute that Ami would move, so would Scatha, not a second later. Her ink was ready to trail right behind her, desiring to assist its creator. Just watching the tension before the clash could make a person's adrenaline spike. "Sheesh, you're not letting up, are you," Red Wire mused, eyes shifting to narrow to the side. There was a slight difference of time between jumps, but she caught on to the pattern quickly; Battoru was trailing her from behind. "I'd rather not end up on the news tomorrow. I said go all out earlier, but this is getting ridiculous," was her answer to the other Dark Magical Girl. Kanbaru could easily quell whatever forest damage was running rampant, assuming Ami wasn't dumb enough to torch the entire parkside. But with the fire came other problems, the flames licking up the falling snow just as easily as it fell. Because of it, steam had begun to spread around their battlefield, causing visibility on all fronts to dim. More importantly though, was the giant helix of ice that had suddenly manifested at the lakeside. "Of course," Touka muttered, knowing damn well whose magic that was and what she was aiming at. Because more than anyone else, she felt the intruding presence too. The presence of their Light Magical Girl counterparts. "It looks like you're getting more escalation, just like you wanted Battoru," Red Wire said before disappearing from sight. The next time she did apppear, it'd be beside the other Detention Club Member. Since this was still a spar, she aimed a swift kick at her, hoping to launch the girl into whatever tree hadn't been burned down. "I'd rather not let those brats ruin our fun," Red Wire said to her opponent, wondering if Battoru would catch on to what she was suggesting. "Ahahaha!" Maiko laughed, her open palms swirling upwards and redirecting Touka's first attack of the night away, before skipping back onto a tree branch to observe the pleasantries occuring at a distance. "Hey now, it's not like you're the only one who's causing havoc, right, Touka? At best, you'll have no responsibility at all, and at worst, you'll only be one-sixth of the problem." Indeed, with Ami setting the world ablaze, Kanbaru dropping a metric ton of ice in every which direction, and Scatha doing her dramatic battle cry, it was clear that the problem laid with only one half of the Detention Club. Scratching the back of her head with a sigh and wondering where the crisp, clean, skillful bout of combat she had wanted had gone, Maiko took in a deep breath and shouted out, "Hey, Ami, Ink Girl! Me and the Prez are gonna take a technical time out, ok? The Light Girls are here now, so peace! Feel free to join in or continue on or whatever, but just try to remember that the park never harmed anybody and doesn't appreciate the abuse~!" The change in tone had been swift and quick, that disciplined, precise part of Maiko now fully gone in the face of the new intruders. Now, she was back to playing the role of the cheery barbarian, and the ashen eyed girl turned back to Touka with a cheeky grin. "Well, wanna go give Kanbaru a hand?"
