Full Name: Harlyn Itzel Enright Nicknames/Aliases: Epsilon Age: 26 Gender: Female Gift: Shapeshifting; of a sort, at least. At will, Epsilon can take on a rather disturbing form that improves her speed, strength, and defense, and she has naturally thick skin in more ways than one. Loyalty: Mercenary. Currently on time off, however. Description: Standing at roughly 6’0”, Harley’s form is one built up of hard living, exercise, and conflict. She’s lean and muscular, with scarred tan skin and a face that, while worn and rough, still manages to hold a near-constant mirth. She has salt-and-pepper hair that reaches the center of her back, which she often keeps tied in a lazy braid. Her eyes are a warm shade of hazel, and on her collarbone is a tattoo of the greek epsilon symbol. Tends to dress in worn leather jeans, short sleeved shirts, and hiking boots. When using her Gift, her limbs growing elongated and spindly, fingers growing into claws, jaw sprouting sharp teeth and becoming horribly misshapen in order to accommodate them- often yawning open thanks to the odd formation of fangs inside her mouth. There’s something almost spiderlike about her body in this state, and the way she moves is downright wrong. Personality: Harley is a friendly (if not rugged and somewhat eccentric) woman by nature. Calm and lackadaisical, it’s notably difficult to ruffle her feathers, or get another response to any real prodding than a good-natured chuckle and a dry quip. She can be remarkably amiable towards friends and enemies alike, and is fiercely loyal to the former, but there is a somewhat darker aspect of her personality in turn. Harley is violent and somewhat hedonistic, relishing in fist-fights and baser pleasures. She has a strong code of ethics in spite of this, though, reflected in how she refuses to work in the business of children or in positions of particular weakness. Skills: - Trained in weapon usage and combat. - Her Gift can make her a threatening force to deal with, as she’s remarkably nimble, strong, and possesses a hide thick enough that knives will have a hard time piercing it. - Given that she resides in the Ashland, she knows well enough how to survive. Weaknesses: - Despite her speed and the strength of both her attack and body, especially when her Gift is active, she’s not invincible. Fire and bullets and all sorts of nasty ways a Gifted could harm another still wound her. - Her code of ethics, as well as her thirst for bloodshed, both serve as a way for an enemy to take an advantage. - Smokes regularly. Brief History: Harlyn’s roots lie in a small community that exists deep within the ashland’s grasp, made up of men and women of various skills, occupations, and interests, but sharing one thing in common- the strength of their Gifts. The village is composed primarily of those with weaker abilities than most, such as being able to pull music from thin air, or have an immediate understanding of any languages one comes across. The only individual with any noteworthy power is their leader, who can, depending on who currently holds the role, have Gifts rivaling those of a high ranking faction member. Any children within this community born stronger than their parents are presented with a choice when they come of age: to either fight the current leader to the death in an attempt to take the position for themselves, or leave the village, finding their life elsewhere. Epsilon, the result of a union between a ribbon-making Gifted and a low level pyrokinetic, was among the children presented the choice. Instead of risking her life in a vie for leadership, she decided to take her chances in leaving. While many of her fellow exiles chose to join one faction or the other, Epsilon took up both a living as a soldier of fortune, and her current moniker, which she often uses interchangeably with her own name. A while ago, during one of her hunts, she was rather heavily wounded. A child hiding nearby discovered her, and, risking her safety, approached and healed the worst of Epsilon’s wounds. The child explained that she had gotten lost from her family, and, grateful for her help, Epsilon offered to help her find her family once she had finished recovering. It’s been some time that the odd pair have been coexisting, and the kid has grown on her some. Even if she is really strange. Other:

Full Name: Caroline Morgan Pelacour Nicknames/Aliases: Clockwork, Clocky, Dolly Age: 6 Gender: Female Gifts: Potent Healing/Regeneration Loyalty: Her family, though it was once officially LIberty. Description: “Unique” would be the kindest word one might use to describe Caroline’s appearance. “Creepy” less so. Despite being a child, she lacks the softened look that many of those her age carry; instead appearing almost lifeless and distinctly artificial. She wears little to no expression for the most part, her skin is porcelain pale, and her eyes- an unnatural shade of purple as it stands- appear glassy and lifeless, like those of a dead fish. Black hair falls to her back in ringlets, and attempting to shear it to a more reasonable length for the ash simply results in it sprouting back. She tends to wear whatever fits her, and whatever is most practical for roaming the ash. Personality: Tying in with her off-putting looks is her personality. Despite being a child, Caroline seems far too cynical and uncannily mature for her age. She speaks in a complete monotone, with mannerisms more akin to an older woman than anything. However, while rather disturbing, the girl holds little ill intent, and can be fairly pleasant if one ignores how disturbing she is otherwise. Caroline tends to be very grateful towards those who do. Part of her quietly wishes to have been a regular child. Skills: - Caroline is an exceptional healer for her age. Her abilities allow her to heal a variety of wounds, snatching people from the brink of death. They extend largely as far as to what the human body could naturally heal- a sword through the spine would still leave one paralyzed after she healed them- though it is possible for her to stretch this power further. She can, with a cost, restore someone’s youth, and even get one’s heart beating in the rare times when the damage isn’t too severe. - These abilities extend to herself, as well. For a child, Caroline is remarkably difficult to kill. It may take some time, but if grievously injured, she can drag herself back from over the edge and regain a grasp on life. This seems to account for her unnatural appearance. Weaknesses: - After performing particularly difficult or tasking healings, Caroline will become weak and sluggish. Her regeneration and the miracles she can pull come at a fairly great cost, as well. As she’s only a child, severe regeneration, and bringing someone back from the dead, is a rather terrifying experience for her, warping her sense of reality and perception of time for a while and leaving her unconcious. The first, and only, time she restored the youth of someone left her in a temporary coma. - For all of her healing prowess, Clockwork is still very much a child, and lacks any offensive power to physically protect herself. As such, she’s essentially defenseless. - In a fight, her family and those she likes often take priority. Brief History: Born as a result of one of Liberty’s many, many dives into the realm of genetics, in which two powerful healers were used to create a child- a healer that would be capable of keeping the leaders, the powerful, and the influential alive. She was handed over to the Founder shortly after her birth, and was raised as his child. Her father, whose life was artificially extended past the war via Gifts, taught her that the unpowered man was not a bogeyman to be feared, but simply, living, human beings. Regret for his actions haunted him, as well as disgust for what had become of his Liberty. Made a puppet king for his country, and fearing the threat of martyrdom, he took his family and fled to the ash. Some time after their escape, Caroline was separated from the rest of her family. Unable to do much else, she hid, though was drawn out after some time by the sight of a wounded woman. The woman was Epsilon, who, in gratitude, offered to look after the odd child and help her find her family. Caroline has been looked after by the odd woman since then, and, while thankful, she grows more worried for her family by the day. Other: - Fairly well read, with a notable preference towards old human literature.

(An image isn't needed, but feel free to add one if you want one in. Otherwise, you can delete this bit.) Full Name: Cordelia Imogen Vasilisa Nicknames/Aliases: Delia, Miss Gable Age: 19 Gender: Female Gift: Emotion Manipulation: Cordelia’s power allows her to project waves of emotion via touch, or in a limited radius around herself. Loyalty: Erubescian- Alchemist Description: Cordelia is a bit of an odd woman, even in looks. She stands at 5’6”, with a build and face that make it a bit difficult to tell if she happens to be a pretty young man, or a boyish young lady. Her lips are thin, constantly drawn into a pleasant sort of smile, and the best indication one could have towards her gender is the length of her curly blonde hair. The most notable feature of hers is her eyes, however. A bright gold, looking into her left will lead one to notice that she has two pupils in one eye. Almost as if the smaller of the two simply split off, the pupils react normally enough, though it gives that eye an almost insectile appearance. While largely a minor condition, it does happen to alter her vision slightly, and she wears glasses to make up for the fault. As an Alchemist, Cordelia often wears a lab coat over a set of cutely patterned scrubs (featuring pastel flowers, most often, though sometimes she’ll go for something more outlandish like owls and the like). When off duty, she’ll wear pastel shirts and colorful pants. On the whole, she seems to really like pastels. Personality: While intelligent enough to have reached her position at such a young age, Cordelia is a bit off, to say the least. She often speaks with a sort of breathiness, and in short, stilted, almost awkward sentences. The longer the sentence, however, the more odd her phrasing. While not particularly interested in high society or loyalty to the King, she’s devoted to her work, taking a great amount of pride in it and always being driven towards the pursuit and advancement of knowledge. At times, her means of getting there are a bit...odd, to say the least, even if her initial ideas appear to have a well enough explanation as to why she’s doing what she’s doing. Some might mistake her fascination and drive for an ambition to rise to the top, though she’s quick to state that it’s simply a passion for a craft that motivates her into doing what she does. Skills: - An intelligent young woman, with the sort of determination and willingness to find alternative- if not particularly unusual- ways of working around problems. - Her emotion power allows her to effectively stun and disarm quite easily. The effect is at its most potent and focused when delivered by touch, though the field that she can project out from herself still very much has an effect. By swaying one’s emotions into a state of tranquility or deep sadness, she can pacify them, or rile them up up with feelings of anger and jealousy. She most typically uses this to keep subjects calm and cooperative, however. - Quite innovative. Weaknesses: - What she possesses in intelligence, she’s entirely lacking in the ability to fight. She avoids physical confrontations as much as possible, leaving that to others more capable than herself. - While her Gift can stun and influence the target, it can be resisted and pushed against- especially when she uses it in a radius, instead of through direct contact. - In addition, while projecting her Gift around herself, she can’t pick and choose who’s affected within her range. Brief History: Cordelia was born the child of the notable, if not somewhat, infamous Chancellor Azrael Gable, known for his overwhelming, nigh disturbing level of loyalty towards Erubesco and its King, and a stained glass artist who he had long had a relationship with until he took on his current line of work. A child was born from that relationship, though in spite of the rather scandalous circumstances that surrounded Cordelia’s birth, Azrael didn’t seem ashamed. Instead, he simply sent a stream of money and shallow encouragement the way of his former lover. The young girl grew up with an odd, enigmatic sort of figure as a father, flitting in and out of her life from time to time, and a mother who did what she could for her child. Surprisingly enough, as she grew, Cordelia became more and more like the strange father than the knowable mother with each passing day. She displayed a keen interest in Gifts, pushing the boundaries of what was possible, and ways of coaxing the rate of progress even a few seconds into the future. It was soon discovered she had a knack for the field, and she was accepted into an internship after some time- an internship that quickly progressed into a full-time job. Cordelia appears to be a prodigy, but with her...certain quirks, it’s difficult to say what might happen in the future. Other:
