When he felt the most insecure, she'd be right there reminding him of how much of an idiot he was. Even if Katherine Wu hadn't been a student at King's since she transferred out for “better” opportunities. But Jun was hardly the perfect picture of self-assurance as much as he liked to come off as an affable yet smarmy douchebag. His Sunday had been a day of cursing at himself at Marco's dorm at FAU while they aggressively played video games and wandered the streets of Boca. Which, he guess was a nice way to ignore everything and push forward, but once he got back to Palm Beach and withstood a lecture from his grandparents, it seemed like he was back to square one come Monday morning. Marisol's absence in their regular classes didn't make it much better. Nor did the second-hand information he got from Archer about the fact that the whole day was going to be “ruined”. He had thought to respond to it, but Jun thought the best response to Monday was to treat it like any other day and ignore anything he had said or not-said over the weekend. Marisol had a relationship and he did not need to complicate either of their lives by admitting that the oh so innocent crush he had for her in elementary school had evolved into something a lot more adult and a whole lot more annoying. And it was annoying. And Katy always made it an issue, even though he hadn't even realized it himself at the time. He still remembers the last fight the two of them had before she left him the next morning; a fight he hadn't even told Archer or Bea about. Probably because he knew Katy was right when she called him a “spineless bitch” for not admitting he had feelings for Marisol to either her or Katy. It was probably the first and last time he realized that Katy was absolutely right about him; and his lack of courage in Marisol's bedroom was proof positive of that fact. As he moved through the cafeteria he saw Sonny; with Marisol and Archer nowhere to be seen. He took a light breath and readied himself for Sonny's attitude and reminded himself not to mention anything. He'd take his lunch, make a joke, and the usual. Everything was fine. Nothing happened. And he certainly wasn't in Marisol's bedroom having a pillow fight. Everything. Was. Fine. “Sonny! There's my favorite troll! You look pleasantly angry this afternoon.” He paused for a split second as he looked over to Julie, whom typically didn't converse with Sonny. “Oh shit. I didn't walk in on something scandalous did I?”
