Kanbaru Otoko

The catharsis of releasing her frustration upon the dark magical girl's antagonists was remarkably short lived. Even without the benefit of sight she knew her attack hadn't claimed any of the light magical girls, their presence a blight on her senses, like a flashlight pressed flush to the retina and flashed for added annoyance. She snapped the barrels from the helix of dirty ice, safe in the knowledge that her attack, unlike most magical girls, would melt away with time. Clean up would become the farthest thing from her mind as, over the distant fires and sounds of combat, Touka of all people was wailing for help. Incessantly, like all of her edge was proving useless at anything but cutting up trees into even easier to burn kindling. It almost filled her with a warm fuzzy feeling as she prepared to respond in a cool way. Then completely out of nowhere and acting as though they'd been having a conversation already, an alarmingly familiar Light Magical Girl flickered onto the lake and delivered a lightning fast kick expressly into Kanbaru's gut with such force to launch her skywards. In short order she crumpled, retched, and flew without any grace while Chie's battle maniac rival prepared a follow up on the ground. "Get lost." Kanbaru barked hoarsely, flipping herself feet up while she aimed both barrels down at her crouched opponent. Dark Magical girls were a hardy bunch, even if they preferred fighting at range. Lips drawn taught in concentration, Fortuna unloaded upon Luna, confident the newly erupting ice features would push her off so Kanbaru could morph them into a flat pillar and land cleanly from this assault.
