[@vancexentan] Stubborn brats didn't know when they were outclassed but they had good enough sense to avoid being ground level so Dieselpunk could thrash them good and proper, and with wind buffeting them it meant Midnight couldn't take to the sky or he'd be shoved out like the others. Clinging to Diselpunk was the only viable option as the electricity coursed through the two of them, attracted to all the metal like a lightning rod. Not that Midnight could feel it. A solid beam of electricity could harm his form but this kind of chaotic energy was little more than ticklish. "Keep it steady." Letting go with his left, Midnight was pushed back a few steps before bracing against the wind and took aim. Explosions wouldnt be useful here, it would backfire likely and hurt punk so plan B was needed. The same type of energy burst that had killed the renegade back at headquarters. "Precision burst: 25%!" 25% mass was overkill but the wind would suck the energy from it before arriving at the hawk winged student. Purple energy throbbed in his extended arm and took off like a laser, streaking through the temporary windstorm with a fury of own as it disrupted the howling gale before blasting through it entirely. The projectile was aimed at the flying students wing with enough force to punch a hole clean through. Nothing that wouldn't recover but if it hit true, they wouldn't be flying for a while.
