The meeting lasted until dawn. After it was adjourned the various heads of the branches went their separate ways. Excluding the head of security and the boss. They left the luxurious meeting room and headed to Henderson's office on the surface floor. After going through the scarcely populated concrete hallways and up the rusted stairs, they opened a small wooden door engraved with the plate "Dave Henderson, Founder and owner of Dave's solar power" which led to an small office space lined with bookshelves, excluding the back of the room which had a large wooden desk. There were three windows at first glance, each behind the desk. Upon closer inspection however there was a skylight right above where Henderson had made himself comfortable by lighting yet another cigar and kicking his feet upon the polished wood surface. "So lets open the hit division back up for business eh?" Henderson said as though he was discussing the weather. "Right, only one hit was submitted while you were away however." Michael reported "Tis fine, not many would pay our outrageous fee as you know. Guaranteed kills with no risk of capture is something we have monopolized. So who is the target?" "A small family store owner in the city, smack dab between office buildings, They want him gone so they can expand and he refuses to sell. same story you've heard a dozen times." "Alright, when does it open? and where is it" "half an hour ago, here is the address" Michael said with a sinister grin "I'll take my leave know, I will let you know if anything comes up." After reading the address, Henderson started to manipulate the photons leading up to the skylight in a small, atomically thin, wire. connecting more and more photons to the chain all the while keeping an eye on the situation through the structure of the wire. It was in the shape of a hollowed out tube, directing the photons reflecting off of the solid obstacles through the tube where upon it would reach his eye this allowed him to see the progress as though there was a camera on the tip of the constantly expanding wire. This continued on for a minute or two. Until he reached far above any buildings that would block it. He then directed it towards the small general store. *30 minutes later* "Fuhahaha, its made of goddamn wood" Henderson suddenly broke the dead silence with incredulous laughter upon getting a visual on the shop. He peeked through a window by manipulating the tube. The interior was run-down and empty, behind a slightly moldy counter stood an old man of average build. "Alright ol geezer, your time is up sadly." Mumbled Henderson to no-one while he poked the tube through the crack of the door. The tubed then slithered through the air towards the old man, he stopped a few feet away. Then an appendage started to grow from the tube. it gathered a small number of photons in the air while running up and down along the tube while setting the frequency to one higher than visible light. A third party would have only been able to seen a slight shimmer in the air caused by the heat from the once light waves, now microwaves gathering up. after gathering up enough photons, Henderson sent them straight at where the old man was standing. Upon making contact the outer layer of skin evaporated, and the layers below that started to peel off the flesh. The blood then began to boil as the massive cluster of microwaves passed through the man almost instantaneously. Blisters appeared on the parts of the body that were not directly hit by the waves due to a mere fraction of the heat dissipating through the body. The old man's eyes bulged out of their sockets and popped as the brain was fried. In the same amount of time as the waves took to pass through, the old man slumped over and a sickening smell of burnt flesh and innards started to permeate the store. There was a clean hole through his chest cavity, where the main cluster was aimed, and the wall behind had black scorch marks outlining his figure with a black dot corresponding to where the hole lay in the body. "Now to make my part in this disappear" Henderson said as he concentrated a much smaller amount of photons and transformed them into microwaves using the same function. Upon concentrating them on a nearby stack of papers, they caught aflame. . . . A horrible accident took place in the city that day according to the news. A fire had broken out in a local general store, burning the owner alive. The deed was put up for auction and was swiftly bought by a office neighboring the space... and a seemingly exhortationate sum was paid to Dave's solar panel's to install solar panels at the new office space, however only the accountants and the higher ups of the companies knew this transaction took place.
