Voodoo and Xen pt 2.  


[color=ed1c24]“Now….where did she go? Did I mention I hate chasing her because I REAAAAALLY hate chasing her.” [/color]Xen mumbles to himself.  

It had been almost 3 years since that day.  [color=ed1c24]“Her aura was gone...I was sure she was dead so how is this happening right now?”[/color]  Just then Xen is able to spot Voodoo fleeing towards a building. [color=ed1c24] “Pretty sure if she goes in there Ill have to fight my way out with her.  Time to stop her now.” [/color]

[color=ed1c24][b][i]“Release...Bird of Hermes”[/i][/b][/color] 
(Bird of Hermes is a spell that allows Xen to transform into a shadow like bird but can only hold this form for one minute.  In that minute he is granted speed almost faster than light)

[color=9e0b0f]“Now honey did you think running from me would be that easy?”[/color] Xen says with a dickish smile.   

Backed into a corner of an alleyway, Voodoo turned around, clearly frustrated. [color=00a651]“After all these years you finally decided to come after me again?”[/color] she pulled out her knife again. [color=00a651]“Leave me alone, Xen. I have some unfinished business to take care of and it’s mostly your fault anyway.”[/color] She rolled her eyes at him and put her hand on her hip.

[color=ed1c24]“I...thought. I thought you were dead..even worse I thought I killed you.  Your aura was completely gone.  I still shouldnt have just left you.  I could grin at a thousand dead bodies but yours….scared me.  At that point I felt more human than I ever had. More vulnerable than ever.  But here you are.[/color]  Xen walks closer to Voodoo grabbing her hand gently and putting the knife to his chest. [color=ed1c24]“Go on...its the least I deserve.”[/color] 

Voodoo dropped the knife, and slapped him. [color=00a651]“We’re even.”[/color]she said cooly. She never had any intentions of fighting the one dearest to her heart, even though she was irritated earlier. 

[color=00a651]“Like i said before, I have no intentions of stopping what i’m doing. Either you let me go, or you help me.”[/color] She was resolute on this one. Despite being a cruel, vicious and evil character to most, she always kept her end of the bargain. She was working on a certain plot of Malcolms because of the information she needed to get out of Cloud. He was the reason why she came to this hero infested town anyway, after hearing news of her beloved being sighted. She had to finish the game they started.

Grabbing his chin and pulling him closer now, she laid a soft kiss on his lips to entice him to join.

[color=ed1c24]“Wow...my little Voodoo.  You’ve come so far in such a short time. It seems I can’t change your mind.  So I’ll come with you to the league of villains. I’m here to protect you at all costs.”[/color]

Voodoo mused at the thought. It hadn’t always been this easy to convince Xen to do things.

[color=ed1c24]“I know what you’re thinking...this was too easy right?” [/color]
She looked away from him, and ran her hand through her hair. [color=00a651]“Actually, yeah.” she laughed a bit.[/color]

[color=ed1c24]“You’re a grown woman both mentally and physically now.  I admire how you’re so adamant about what you’re doing.  I’ll come with you but...I really want you to consider the fact that there’s more to life than us killing everyone.”[/color] 

Once again, she rolled her eyes. [color=00a651]“Give me the brooding personality back.” [/color]

He grabs her by the neck and pins her to the ground.  [color=ed1c24]“Don’t get it twisted beloved...I may have a heart for you but I’m still a demon whether I like it or not.  I'll still drink the blood from an assortment of skulls and STILL bring you a bed of roses in the same breath.  Understand?"[/color]

With much admiration for him doing that, she smirked, [color=00a651]“Good”[/color] came out raspy because of his tight grip. This was the man she missed for so long. When he finally released his grip, she got up and brushed herself off, clinging to his arm. [color=00a651]“Shall i show you the way?”[/color]she said, looking up at him.

[color=ed1c24]“Fine. Although I’m almost surrrrrre none of your boyfriends are going to like this sight at all.”[/color] Xen jokes with the straightest face.
