It appears as though she had not retained her lessons on thinking before one spoke. Nan would be rolling in her grave right now. Colette cleared her throat to mask whatever embarrassment was to come forth. "I apologize. I felt that since you and your crew did us a service there was no reason to hide my intent for travel. It seems I have...what is the phrase...put my shoe in my mouth?" Colette shrugged and sat down. She noted the pistol as it appeared on the table first. Colette tried to mask her surprise, but then again, these were pirates. However, they proved to be nothing more than hospitable to her and Fyror (she hoped!) and they did save their lives. If they wanted them dead, surely they wouldn't have bothered rescuing them? But then another thought crept. She came from a wealthy family. And she was sre Fyror did as well. So did they mean to imprison them for ransom? The thought couldn't help but enter her mind. She would have to keep her wits about her. She stared at the glass offered. She wouldn't mind warming up more with a drink, but what if it was poisoned? She really was paranoid at this point. Adventure awarded the bold, did it not. She picked it up and took a sip, letting the warmth travel down her throat. "The attacks were...brutal. I managed to escape from a party, though others were not so lucky. My name is Colette and, again, thank you for rescuing us."
