Attraction - Beryl can designate two objects within her line of sight and cause them to move towards each other at a fairly fast clip. For example, she can designate two people and have them be dragged towards each other, or throw a rock at someone and have the rock essentially home in on them. The attraction dissipates a few seconds after either object makes contact with the other, and she can only designate two objects at a time, but Beryl's gotten a pretty good amount of mileage out of her Gift over the years.

However, most people assume that her Gift has more to do with her obvious reptilian characteristics than anything else. Beryl's content to let people think that, mostly because she just doesn't want to bother correcting them (and partly because if she showed up to correct someone about it, they'd probably have a heart attack).[/center]

Beryl stands at about 5’ 6” and 146 lbs., with light brown skin and short, slightly curly black hair, with several orange stripes running through it. Her almond-shaped eyes are a strange sort of bluish-purple, with slitted pupils. Her fangs are prominent enough that they tend to stick out of her mouth a bit, which makes her look intimidating until you hear the slight lisp they give her. She also has a forked tongue. Her body is almost entirely covered in black and orange scales, with most of her face (save for her cheeks) being the only area that lacks them. Her hands and feet more closely resemble a lizard's than a person's, with elongated fingers and toes, tipped with long claws (though she still has opposable thumbs, a fact she appreciates more and more every day). Finally, she has a thick, scaled tail, patterned in complex, swirling, orange-and-black shapes, and long enough that the tip just barely drags on the ground behind her.

As for clothing, it's difficult to find things that accommodate scales, claws, and a tail, but so far Beryl's made it work. Mostly by stealing from stores and houses, but still. She's amassed a decent-sized wardrobe at this point, with several baggy shirts and a few pairs of pants that she's painstakingly cut holes in for her tail. Her favorites so far are a gray shirt that says "Fictional Character" across the front, and the only pair of jeans she's managed to find.[/center]
