"Toki...Toki...Toki!" Tokiko woke with a start. "I'm up! I'm up!" she said, waving her arms around. When she looked she found her mother, Nozomi Chronos, in front of her. She was dressed in her usual black turtleneck, black pants and brown trenchcoat. Standard fare for a detective. "Toki, you really shouldn't be falling asleep in public like that. W-What if someone tried to carry you off? A villain just attacked yesterday, for goodness sake!" her mother said. "I didn't mean to...tests are draining..." Tokiko said sadly. Nozomi sighed and sat down next to her. "I know, sweetie. I just want you to be careful. Its dangerous out here. Villains are everywhere," Nozomi said. "I just...I just don't want to find you while I'm working." "I'll do my best to stay safe. Besides its hard to catch someone who can see ahead." Tokiko said, pointing to her eyepatch with a grin. Her mom chuckled and ruffled her hair. "This much is true. Now...where did you get that jacket from?" Nozomi asked, pointing it out. The jacket had fallen next to her as she woke up. Tokiko glanced at the jacket. "I...I don't know. Maybe a hero put it on me?" Tokiko replied. Her mother raised a suspicious eyebrow and held the jacket in her hand. It was a tan trenchcoat, with a few stains on it. "Considering the size of this, it probably belongs to a student," Nozomi said, taking them out. She went through more of the pockets and found a dropper, a magnifying glass, and a folded piece of paper. She opened the paper, and quickly closed it, blushing a little. "What's with kids these days..." Nozomi muttered, putting it into her pocket. "What was it, Mom?" Tokiko asked. "N-nothing you need to see dear," Nozomi said nervously. "Get your things and let's go home. Your dad's making dinner." As Tokiko packed her bag, Nozomi's right eye began to have a silver mist come off of it. She stared at the bench, and Tokiko, and saw part of what had happened in the past 30 minutes, and how her daughter slept through it all. She scowled. I really don't like the looks of that...Good thing she was asleep. "I'm ready to go!" Tokiko said. Nozomi turned her quirk off and smiled. She picked up the lab coat off the bench. The two walked towards through the gate of UA towards their home. "Hey Toki, whenever you find out whose coat this is...bring him over for dinner. I'd love to meet him." Nozomi said. And interrogate him. "Why should I invite some random guy over for dinner? That's weird. Weren't you just talking about staying safe?" Tokiko replied. "Fine, fine. Then just introduce me. I want to meet the gentleman who put his jacket on the fair maiden. Who knows, maybe he'll be my son-in-law someday." Nozomi grinned, running towards the house. Tokiko chased after her. "MOOOOOM~!"
